I am looking to compare lines within a .csv file. So in my form i have the user input a bunch of data that gets written to a listbox. Like so Pre_Study_Listbox.Items.Add("Team Members are: "). I then save the listbox to a .txt file and they can later load the .txt file back to the listbox. All this works great. But now i need to reverse the order of textbox to listbox and put the information back into the textbox fields from the listbox. So. The parsing character is ":" I need to read each line of the listbox and at the ":" take the rest in put it to the text box. I am not familiar with the parsing command

The lines contain numbers like this:2345,0,0,1,36,... and the last line will always be a number like: + or -123456789I also have 12 textboxes (a0.text to a11.text). If I have a couple lines of text and I scroll down a line(row) of text using the cursor I wish the subordinate rtb respond in the same manner i.e. scrolling down the same line(row) and obviously the lines of text underneath.

how to count the lines in textbox1.text (with multiplelines). I don't need to count each character. I only need to count each line from top to bottom in textbox1.text (multiplelines) and I will use Label1 to display the numbers.

The only thing I can do for now is either use the substring function to remove the first character from all array values after 0 but I don't like that because it's messy and what if the split "works" as I want it to one one of the lines and knocks of the first character when I don't want it to.

And then once the line has been read, read file 1 line by line to search for a match. But that's going to be painfully slow.Or I could read file 2 into memory. And then read file 1 line by line and REPLACE the lines in file 2 with nothing, therefore deleting them. File 2 could be 100 mb, so I'm not sure about reading it all into memory.

Okay what i what to do is to compare one picture to another continuously untill it finds a change and then launches my code. Picture 1 - A picture i put to the form Picture 2 - I wont this to take a picture in a certain area and compare it to the first picture. lets say the first screen shot it took didn't match 'Picture 1' then it will keep taking pictures until it finds something different and when it finds something different it will launch my code.
I dont know if this is the right way to go since i heard something about pixel scanning but that's to hard since you have to find the exact RGB of that pixel. Also theirs like billions on the screen so it would be hard to find a change of color on the screen and then launch a code after that and keep repeating.
