Create Exception When Document Is Opened During For Each *.doc Loop

I'm doing a small tool that basically wipes the document properties of each .*doc file in a specified folder. The code is working, however, if the document is already opened, I'm presented with a text box asking if I want to open a read only copy etc. I want the code to abort if that happens and rather write it down in a log file or something. And just move on to the next file. How can I do this? I'm talking about editing thousands of documents.

I just trying to made word add-ins that gone save opened document.I made ribbon and button on it.Below is the that i use for saving word document on certain location:

But when i click on this button i just made email.doc but that document does not contain any content of the opened document, it just made new doc file.What i am doing wrong? The event on this button need to just same as event on standard Word save button, so how i can do this?

I have got one issue while creating the Coded UI Test. The Issue is
1) In my Application, after clicking on Download Option, I will get one Pop Up with couple of Options in it. let's say Open, Save and Cancel.
2) When I click on Open Button among the list of buttons in the Pop Up, I can see the Word Document opened in my screen.
Here what I have to do is , I need to read the content of the word document and I have to store that data in one variable.

I am writting a program that aims at filling up bookmarks of a template with data retrieved from a sql server db. The form opens a Word document but I can't control the position and dimensions of the word document. It seems that I can't manage to overwrite MS Word default settings for position and dimensions. Okay, so I wrote a few custom ItemTemplates for VS2010 that implement IWizard in VB.NET (4.0). Straight forward enough. They work during my testing, but when someone else deploys and attempts to use any of them, Visual Studio throws an incredibly generic Exception has been thrown by a target of invocation error.
Stranger still, after they open up the project properties and try again... they work. Without changing anything. Anyone have any clue what is going on? Or perhaps even just a way of getting VS to give me a more specific error? I already tried devenv.exe /log but nothing out of the ordinary was there.

So I made a simple patform game where the player has to jump quickly while the platforms move to the bottom of the screen, as to not touch the bottom of the screen. But, I need to know how to create a loop to loop the locations of the platform. I have a list box, lisInsurers, which contains a list of Insurers. I want to step through the box, and for each checked item add an entry in a XMLDocument. I'm then going to pass this XML document as a parameter to a stored procedure. I've found loads of samples for the stored procedure, but can't find anything for creating the XML doc itself.

It is possible to catch an exception and throw a new exception which wraps the first exception as an inner exception: [URL] Also, if I call a function and it throws a certain error, but I catch it, will the calling code's catch handler execute? If so, and it is of a higher exception type, is this not wrapping the exception? eg I can throw exception ex of type IndexOutOfRange, log it but rethrow, catch a higher up exception and do something, or I can throw a new exception and wrap an inner exception like:
