Determine Control Under Mouse Pointer With Context Menu

I have a program that has two list boxes. I want to have the user right click either listbox and remove an item using the context menu option. I have tried to use GetChildAtPoint (control.mouseposition) but I cannot return a control the mouse is over. I then tried to use the _Click event of the context menu to get the sender, but the sender is the contextmenu control. Here is the code I am using:

I want to add a context menu to a datagrid in VB2008 and I need to find out which menu item the user selected.
I don't want to use the ContextMenuStrip that's available in the toolbox since it doesn't allow for dynamic placement depending on what row is active in the grid (I haven't found a Top and Left property in the ContextMenuStrip)
Here's what I've got so far, I'm aware of the fact that the MsgBox uses a non-existing property, it is meant to show my intention.
Given the available properties in the ContextMenu object, I would think that there would be something like a SelectedItemCaption property but a search of the object tree yields no results.

Visual Studio 2005. Is there a way to determine which menu item is hi-lited in a ContextMenuStrip?
For example: I associate ContextMenuStrip1 with TextBox1.ContextMenuStrip1 contains 5 items with names:
Item1ToolStripMenuItem
Item2ToolStripMenuItem
Item3ToolStripMenuItem
Item4ToolStripMenuItem
Item5ToolStripMenuItem
A sub-menu is created with Item3ToolStripMenuItem that contains 5 items with names:

Item3cToolStripMenuItem
Item3dToolStripMenuItem
Item3eToolStripMenuItem
As the menu is navigated is there a way for the program to know which of the 10 menu items is hi-lited before a click event occurs?

I have a context menu strip on my application but I would like to associate it when a user right clicks on a list box in my application. The context menu appears on my mouse right click event in my listbox, but it appears at the top of my application instead of where I right clicked. How do I associate the list box control with the contextmenu.
NOTE: Maybe there is another control besides a contextmenu that I want to use here.

Anyone know why the Mouse_Leave event fires when you don't leave the control with the mouse pointer?Put a large button on a Form so your mouse pointer does not leave it easily.Then try this codeWhen you do, leave the mouse pointer in the middle of the button and then click the button.By the way, if you uncomment the 1st line of code in the Button Click event and comment out the MessageBox, this does not happen.Can someone please explain this behaviour?

VB express 2008 .net 3.5 or .net 4.0 VB express 2010?I have written application to convert RTF to HTML. The main Purpose of the application is to copy VS code to the clipboard and covert it then put it back into the clipboard as a HTML Document so that it can be pasted into a HTML document such as Windows Live Mail. I found that code copied and pasted is spaced out in in the wrong positions.
The applications works perfect with no bugs so far. I then asked Myself how to go about doing the copy with the least amount of operator interaction. So I added an Icon to the Icon Tray with a right click menu to use to convert once the Rich Text Format was copied to the clipboard. This works fine except you have Five steps, Select the text, Copy to clipboard, Right Click the icon, Select the Converter and Paste. The normal is three steps.
To this the best solution is to add a context menu item to the active form such as the RTF editor or window. So that when you select the Rich Text to copy and right click on the form to bring up that menu then to Just Select the menu Item such as "Copy RT and Convert" I searched and found about 544000 Items and tried to restrict down to no avail. I read until I finally gave up. I did not find any code examples of this. Almost every thing I found related to the web or some other explicit document like Excel and not to the Various windows that could be active with RT in it.
how do you add a context menu item to the context menu of an active rich text format window such as WordPad or VB?I have test in my application that tests to see if it is a RTF in the clipboard so if it is not the converter does nothing.

I want to avoid paste operation in combox box control. to suppress the system context menu for copy and paste, I did following steps1) Create a empty new context menu (just drag drop new context menu on the form)
2) Assigned newly created empty ContextMenuStrip to combo box ContextMenuStrip property. Is it the right way to avoid right click system context menu? is there any other way to do so?

I have 10 textboxes on a windows form. Each textbox has the same contextmenu. Say they are named textbox1 - textbox10. What I need is when I right click in one of the textboxes I need to capture the name of the textbox in which the contextmenu was called. So if I am over textbox2 and right click for contextmenu then select menu item #2 in the click event I need to capturethe textbox control I called the contextmenu from (textbox2) so I can send that name to a function to process my other code.

I've been working on a GUI in WPF which I'm fairly new to, having only used Windows Forms up until now. So far, my GUI is very simple: it contains two rectangles, each of which drops a shadow. The shadow creates an effect of rectangles "floating above the canvas" so to speak.
When one of the rectangles is pressed, the myRectangle.MouseDown event is handled such that the shadow goes away, thus creating an effect of the rectangle being pressed down onto the canvas, like a button.Similarly, when mouse button is released, the myRectangle.MouseDown event is handled such that the shadow reappears and the rectangle "floats" again. This behavior make them resemble buttons. Note, there a reasons I want them to be rectangles and not custom buttons.

If the pointer leaves a rectangle while mouse button is pressed, I'd like shadow to reappear. This is arguable simple, because theoretically in this case, any time myRectangle.MouseLeave is raised, the shadow should come back on, even if it was already there.If the pointer left a rectangle when mouse button was pressed, then came back while before the button was released, I want the shadow to disappear again. This one is what gives me problems. No idea how to do this.

I have a blank form and when the use right clicks on the form, they get a context menu with any number of names in the menu. This changes depending on the situation. I can get the context menu to add/remove the list of names but when I click on one of the choices and it goes to my routine (from addhandler) I can't find the property that tells me what they clicked on...

I am attempting to hide the mouse pointer when there has been a few seconds of inactivity and then re-show the pointer again when the user moves the mouse. I have been able to get the mouse pointer to hide and re-show as I require it, however when I execute grid.Children.Clear() and grid.Children.Add() the mouse pointer re-appears (but again hides after a few seconds of inactivity).
