Feb 18, 2010I have a dynamic array that holds my results. I want this result to display on a form as an equation.The results from my array are numerical numbers and I want them to be multiplied to column headers of my datagridview.Column header for my datagridview are X1, X2, X3, X1^2, X2^2, X3^2, X1X2,X1X3,X2X3.My array is of the size 9.The values in my array could be , 23, -7.19, -26, -78, 32.5, .89, 21, -2.3, 4.5, 6.7..I am just making my results display on a msgbox one by one but I cannot get all of them once.

I have added the .toString("c2") statement and only get one array to display in currency, then the second array does not round properly. Is there a convert function that will work? Here's my code:

Apr 25, 2011I'm trying to create a linked list of an array of integers. Why is the following implicit conversion required?
When I run the code that contains that conversion, I get the following error.
As a real-time data acquisition user control data (a packet of an array of bytes) arrives every second, is converted into an integer array and inserted into a linked list.
The most recently arrived data is painted as coordinates on a grid at the right of a PictureBox using Graphics.DrawLine (pen,X1,Y1,X2,Y2).
The oldest data (arriving 120 seconds ago) will be drawn at the leftmost portion of the Picturebox.
Why a linked list rather than a list? To display 120 views of time sequence data, the draw routine the most recently inserted node to a node that points to Nothing. How do I limit the length of the linked list to 120 nodes and always ensure that the last node points to Nothing?

Mar 4, 2012I am creating a dll with all the functions and subroutines that I use all the time and I decided to create a function that I can pass different types of array to so the function obviously (or not) would have an array of type object. Now I no you can pass any type into an object type but when I pass an integer array into an object array I get an error.

May 1, 2012My problem is that I have two forms, Form1 and Form2 ...on Form1 there is a TextBox called txtTotal (this contains the calculation of Ticket Prices, thus it's a numeric value) and on Form2 there is a TextBox called txtTotal2. All I want to do is get the same number that appears in txtTotal on Form1 to appear in txtTotal2 on Form2 .However whenever I try some of the help tips online such as using a declaring txtTotal as global or friend it dosn't work, and any other code iv tried attempts pass the textbox value as String which brings an error.

Some of the records are inserted but when the code read the part where there is an empty/null value in the column where they are assigned as "decimal" the error message "Error converting data type nvarchar to numeric." pops out.

May 28, 2012i am having trouble displaying the values i get from an IList(Of T) and displaying that in a listbox found on another form. I have used a for loop to get the values from the IList, then i can display that in a msgbox. for eg:

best_tour is ot type IList() path keeps the name found in the list everything works fine inside the loop..but it does not populate the lst_output listbox.I have tried using files, but in vain. It just get the values from the list but does not display that on the listbox.If that can help, then listbox is found in a panel on the form2, but taking it out of the panel does not affect anything.
