I want to implement a button that sends values typed in textboxes of gui(vb.net i'm using visual basic 2008) into a sql server table called Noms.
Example:
2 textboxes
id=1
nom = michael
Press button send the the 2 values into the 2 columns (id and name) of Noms table Then I enter in textbox(gui vb.net) id=2 and nom=mike So the output in my Noms table of sql server should be:
Id Nom
1 michael
2 mike
Here's the code implemented in button to send the values into the specified table:

I want to insert data to a table in SQL DB.I have a combo box with the values "5" and "6". When you click one or the other in the combo box i want these values to be inserted in a database( MS SQL Server 2008).I also have some textboxes which are bind correnctly and have no problem. The problem is with the bindings(i guess) of the combo box. I get sql exception.

I select the date that the customer brings the returned item by selecting a datepicker. The calculation works fine, but i want to insert 3 values into my database under column names that i already have.
The table name is Trnsaction. it has the following coloumn names: Trnsaction_id Member_id Album_id issue_date return_date members_date days_delayed fine The last 3 coloumns(members_date ,days_delayed ,fine) are values i wish to add to my database. Ive created one database Sql Server Compact Edition 2005, with one table ("Cliente") I know that I can created my database good, but i have a problem saving information since three textbox, in my table(With columns "Nombre" "Apellido" "Cliente". In my form there is a button save ("Guardar"). When I do click in my button appear the next message : "The column cannot contain null values. [ Column name = Nombre,Table name = Cliente ] " and happen the same with apellido and Id_Cliente. And this happen becouse my code cant save the information....

when i click the button, i get a error message saying "Syntax error in INSERT INTO statement". as far as i can tell, i have everything i need to insert a new row into the database, and i dont see why this problem is occuring.
item(0) is an autonumber key field, so that should make a new record by itself, and i have declared the input textboxes as the data() array

I am using VB.NET 2010 and SQL Sever CE 3.5 database. I insert some data into my database (SDF file) and I can do any all manipulations with those data. But I cannot see those data in the data table using Data Source or Server Explorer in Visual Studio. Even If I check it once in Server Explorer, all data in the database will be deleted.
