That is, when I put in it a URL of a redirect page it gives me nothing or error. I added to it ".AllowAutoRedirect = True" but still it did not work. I wonder how to make it work for redirected pages.

I am trying to create a link in a user area of my website. After logging in, the users info is passed to the allow access to specific areas of the site. What I would like to do is create an html link that is controlled by a conditional statement.
for example, after a user logs in, I want to check whether they have credentials to click on a link which will allow them to advance to something new. When the root page is accessed it correctly extracts the different directory links. but when it requests the directory links html page it pulls the main root URL again. someone mentioned about redirection but when debugging I see the url variable containing the directory link correctly.

I am working on httpwebrequest method to read the php page from my site. What I am trying to do is to read the php page while read the html tags for each line, find the matched string that I have selected on the listview, then extract and get the full link of the tag called "delete" and then displaying the messagebox. Something would be like this:

How would I activate this link from vb.net since when you click on it all the html content appears and when I use the webbrowser control to navigate to it, I get the same original html.
