File I/O And Registry :: View Netflix Play Instantly Queue

In IE, in the View pulldown, there is an item called Source.This displays a text file of the source html for that website.I am trying to capture my Play instantly Netflix movie list so I can display movie names on my analog tv that are large enough to read from the TV.Then, with a wireless mouse in the living room, I can navigate to a movie from the tv monitor and play a particular movie.How can I save this source data as a text file on my pc?The Queue gets updated periodically and everytime I start my program, I need to capture that source.[code]but I am not getting the Source that I see when I use the IE Source menu while my Netflix Queue is display in IE.

I can't find any way of loading all files with e.g (.txt) from a specific directory: C:UsersChristianDocumentsMy Logs I use Visual Basic 2008 .NET, this is how I try to get it:
1. When the form loads it should retrieve the full path and title of the files and then put them in the List View control.
2. When the user marks one file in the list view and then clicks a button the text content should be displayed in a multi line textbox.

I wrote a program to download and play AVI files the files are large in size and long time wise. I have the files playing as they are being downloaded but i can't see how long the file is or seek reliably. i was reading that the AVI headers are in the last 512kb of the AVI file *why would't they put it at the start* lol so my question is is there a way to download the last 512Kb of the file i'm downloading. i have the Bytes Read and Length of the file while its downlaoding i'm just not sure where to go from there, or how to do it atleast. If i had the length in time of the Avi file i could set the trackbar to be able to seek properly. or if someone has an idea how i could get the time of the video by using fps and some math i could prob do it that way too but idk how i would tell how i can find how many kb are in the fps i'm sure it changes so think that way is't going to be reliable. how to get the last 512kb would be the best option not sure if it can be done even.

Im trying to open media player (full screen) and play a movie. When i create the file path like so: Dim MoviePathVTS As String = String.Concat("""" + tempMoviePath, " \VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB" + """")
It wont play the file but if i do it like this: Dim video1 = """F:\Movies\DvD\Angels and Deamons\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB"""
It plays fine? the file paths are the same including the extra "" but it just refuses to play. I need the top one because i have many movies in a treeview.

I want to filter by a partial string of the genre.Each title contains a Genres collection. I want to show only Genres where the Name contains a certain string (like "Family").Even better filter using Titles where genre.name.contains "firstFilter" AND "secondFilter".Basically, I want to filter by genre(s) and I cannot figure out how to do it since Title contains its own Genres collection and I cannot figure out how to return only title that are in one or more genres of the collection.

Currently, I am try to get the email addresses that have been saved or stored by the user of the computer. This isn't the emails that the user has sent or received, or the contacts he/she has in his address book. Just simply the email accounts that have been accessed from the computer.I know that there are some locations stored in the registry that have the email account. The email addresses that are used on the current computer. I just can't seem to find them on my computer.I am not sure if the registry is the only place to find it or if it stored on the web browser such as internet explorer or google chrome.

I am writing an application that connects to a specific com port. This com port can change depending on how many physical ports are on the PC, and if other USB devices have installed com ports before this one.
I have the communication to the com port all working great, but I need to get the com port description not just the "COM#" which is all I currently get.
I found in the registry where the description is stored but am having trouble doing what I need.

there is a varied number of sub keys. The are numbered 0000-NNNN depending on how many ports you have. Inside each of these keys, there are multiple values, although I am only interested in one or 2 of them.
My problem is, that I do not know how to get a list of the subkeys (the 0000-NNNN keys/folders) from the original key I posted. I have looked through a few registry tutorials, and I can view the default value in the listed key, but I could not find how to list the subkeys of the listed key.
Does anyone have any sample code they could share that shows how I can get a listing of subkeys, and then run through those subkeys checking for a specific value in one of the strings contained in the subkey?
I am using VB.net 2008 and Windows XP.

I have several programs that must write to HKLM in XP and Windows 7/64 Pro.The programs work in VB6 but not in VB.Net 2008 on target machines. It does works on our development machine. [code]I just cannot figure out why VB6 works but .net doesn't and fails only on the target machine not the development machine.

I've been writing an application that gathers various details from a PC and writes the info to an SQL database. It works fine on my PC and on several others that I have been testing on, but I just ran it from one other machine and the app instantly crashes with a "testipm.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" message. i got a big project really big one and they need this new solution only because of peach tree, tally are not enough for doing their work. So I've got a somewhat common problem from what I can tell from the search results..I developed a program, got a beta version performing well, noticed a few small bugs, fixed the (all code-related) bugs, and now the program will open and then close immediately. I believe I have determined that the problem is not code related as I have commented outall of the code and it still refuses to stay open until I tell it otherwise.
