My randomised image poll generates 6 csv files. Each csv files have the contents of three listboxes

1) how to assign column titles to each column? 2) How do I combine several csv files into an open excel file? I've looked at several things. There are no commas in my csv files. All values in columns.

I have a folder with several excel files that have a date field, i.e. 08-24-2010-123320564.xls.I want to be able to have some VB scripting that will simply take the files that start with todays date and merge them into one file.

I am working on an excel add-in. Currently I have a couple of forms that grabs info from excel, processes and pastes data back into excel.My problem occurs after my form closes (this leaves excel and one other MDI form still open). I need my excel sheet to come to the front for users to view and edit. My MDI form just stays on top even though I just edited the excel doc. I have tried everything I can think of using:

[code] objExcelAppDataSheet is the excel application's object and strTemplatePath is the path of the excel file.This excel file is like a template that i am using in my application. In this file some cells are merged. After copying to the new sheet the formatting of the sheet does not remain same. Columns sizes are changing. Why this problems occurs? Is this MS office versions issue??

Upon my program startup, I need to see if an Excel 2003 file with a certain name is open and then control it (set a reference to it). Unfortunately, the path of the Excel file is not set; else I could just detect if that file was open. So I guess I need to somehow loop through all open instances of Excel; then once I set an Excel app reference to each instance I could loop through the workbook names... But how would one go about looping through open instances of Excel in VB.net 2008?

Here is the problem: I have written an application that opens an excel file, copys a chart to the clipboard, then closes the excel file. It works fine except under a very special condition. If the user has an excel file open and then runs my application, the open excel file closes. To make this more confusing, if the user then reopens an excel file and runs my application again, everything works fine. It will continue to work fine untill the user reboots his or her computer. Then it will occur again one time

I have to provide an Excel file as an output. I have to color some of lines and make them bold.The input is based on a dynamic list (in memory) and it also could be based on CSV file that I'm already provide today (based on the same dynamic list).I'm wondering what would be the most efficient way (in terms of performance) in order to provide the colored Excel output?Should I export directly from dynamic list into Excel - or - Should I export from CSV into Excel ?

So I've got this Excel sheet of employees which have all the information about them. I'm trying to import this info into AD, but in order to do that I need to get the username for these users as well. And I would like vba code or vb.net code that basically takes the value of every row in column D and looks for it in AD and returns the username and adds it to column A. Would something like this be possible?

I have a program originally compiled in VS2008 on a WindowsXP Pro box. The program uses Microsoft DAO 3.5 Object Library to access an Access database.
When I try and run the program on Windows XP (any version) it runs just fine. If I try and run in on Vista (any version) it doesn't work. When I try and run it on Windows 7 Pro, it runs fine. I really want it to run on Windows 7 Home Premium, but I get an interop error anytime I try and access the database.

I'm trying to copy multiple excel source files into one excel file. My current code is working only for 3 source files..If more than 3 files are there, it doesn't copy the data but creates blank work sheet in the output excel file. Lets say I have a source folder with 5 excel files. Each workbook contains one worksheet with data. It copies upto 3 worksheets along with data into output excel file.
Lets say excel1 contains A as work sheet, excel2 contains B as work sheet ,excel3 contains C as work sheet ,excel4 contains D as work sheet ,excel5 contains E as work sheet .Now my output excel file should look like..OutputExcel with A, B, C, D, E along with respective data.But my current code is giving output as A,B,C worksheets along with respective data but its creating blank sheet1,sheet2 in place of D & E.

All I would like to do concatinate text from two different cells using VB Express 2010. I know there is a =A1&" "&B1 Funtion if I were using excel an thier is also the concatinate function but I do not know how to use these in VB. Below is what I have so far for simply copying one cell to another.

How can I combine all of the output Released files into just a single .exe file? Like for example I have these file extensions: .exe, .pdb, .vshost, vshost.exe, vshost.exe.manifest, and then 2 xml files that have to do with my program.
So once again I am trying to get all of these files into possibly one file. Do you know how when you go into your Windows Program Files folder, there are none of these files. I am basically trying to do the same thing.

writing a script to allow the user form to browse to a directory and combine multiple files to one text file. In DOS it would be copy *.* to Text.txt.
I am using Visual Basic 2008 express...
I can use the OpenFileDialog to browse and open a single file but I am unable to use the multiselect option to open multiple files.
all files are parsed in the same place.
I have attached what I have managed so far which included converting the opened file to .txt

Using vb.net 2008 to create an Excel ss. I am trying to add a new sheet and it does but it puts it out of order. It puts it as the first sheet. I need it as the last one ( furthest to the right).

I have created a connection to an excel file. This is the code i created to select the data in the excel. But i want to make the [sheet1$] to be dynamic, which means it will get the sheet name depending on what is in the excel workbook. This workbook has only one sheet.
