I am trying create a program where when a user clicks on a button alongside a record in a gridview (I have created a button column in the grid), it shows that particular record in a new form. But after the application closes there is still memory being held in Processes by the application. However, when pressing the [X] in the top of the form the application closes again but in this instance it is not held in Processes. How do I write the close for Exit to take into account how the [X] works and close the application cleanly?

I believe there wont be any diff if user clicks the button on the form and the click event is fired OR if we call the button click event / function in the code. Because in one my project, this does make diff. If I click the button on the form, the App works great but same button if I click it thru the form code, the whole process crashes. This happens in Vista / VB.net.

I am using gridcontrolview and put my "product" table in here. It contain 4 column: systemid, system, actualid, description. I want to display only system column (it's easy, just hide the others column) But, In "system" column, there are a lot of similar data, i want to display only distinct data from this column in the grid

I have a VB 2008 connected to my localhost SQL using DataGridview, BindingSource and DataTable. All works fine, i can add, edit and delete the row and the SQL database is also affected.
However, there is one thing that bugs me, that is sorting.
Problem My table in this database is still quite empty, it only has 6 rows
However, if I spam-click the column header, the sorting seems taking some time to sort, so that, the sorting result does not follow my mouse spam-clickings
Note: Spam Click = Clicking the mouse button in high frequency, something like click click click click click click click click click, etc
I then make a debug button to check this

When you use enter button on the keyboard it doesnt work.Is there anyway I can allow enter button also to be used rather than ONLY clicking 'OK' button.

I'm trying to make the program click on the "Join" button on that website, and with the code above it does click on the join button, but it seems to ignore any type of javascript involved with the button, therefore giving some type of website error. Is there a better way to click that button so it won't produce any website errors?
