Jun 24, 2009I need to check my field in format ddMMyyyy(ex 12/03/1990) whether in interval of two dates that user picks from two date picker controls. Two date pickers are in custom format dd/MM. It does not matter for me if its between particular years. I need just to know if given Birthday belongs to interval taken from screen. Each datepicker gives values dd/mm/yyyy. I do not know how to check it. For example: Given date 12/03/1990 . User select two values from screen: From 01/01/1950 Upto 30/04/1949(or 1990, or 2000) Result should be True.Because 12 march is between 01 Januar and 30 April.

Jun 6, 2011When I create a new data, key-ing in all details and for date as well. So when I click on the button Edit. Yes I can perform the edit function, I can edit everything. Then, once I click on Save, yes it Saved. But problem here in the date all goes back "1900-01-01".

May 18, 2009Im trying to use DateTimePicker function and save the date to an access database. Everything is working somewhat how I want it to but not 100% yet. Here is my problem. When the program is running if I click on the datetimepicker and select a date and click my save button the date IS saved to my access database as it should.
but if i run the program and don't ever click on the datetimepicker (because it is already on the correct current date) and click my save button the date doesn't get saved to the access database. The closest I have gotten was to enable the ShowCheckBox option, If i run the program this way and select the check box but dont select a date then it will save the date to my db.
But I really need it to be able to save the date to the db without the user ever clicking on the datetimepicker. Is it just a simple line I'm missing? Im pretty new to this but Ill try to explain anything the best I can if you have any further questions for me.

Apr 13, 2012I am making some kind of calendar where I can add tasks, so I can easily organise my tasks. For it to complete, I have 3 things I can't figure out how to do it:
1. When I launch the program, I want the items in my listbox to be sorted alphabeticly.
2. I want to save the items in the listbox, so if I close the program and reopen it the items are still saved in the listbox.
3. The items in the listbox all start with a date, fe. "13-4" for today. If that date already passed I want that item to be deleted.

What I want is to change how much the datetimepicker increments, when you click the arrows, depending on the value that is entered in the combobox. For example, if the user has 2 hours in the combobox, the datetimepicker will increment by two hours and won't let the user change the minutes. If the user selects 15 minutes, the minutes will increment by 15 on the datetimepicker.
