How To Edit Links Within A Protected Sheet

I set up a worksheet with locked and unlocked cells. I would like to protect the worksheet; however, this grays out the "Update Values" and "Change Source" buttons in the Edit Links window. One workaround is to ask the users to Edit Links through an unprotected worksheet within the workbook, but that seems like a nuisance. Is there VBA code to allow "Update Values" and "Change Source" through Edit Links, in a protected sheet?

Currently I'm working on a Contact Address Book module for DNN 6 and I would like to show a list when a user logs in and some settings to add, delete and change contacts on the Manage section (left upper corner in Edit view).I have no idea how to archieve this, so far, I created two modules. One to display all contacts and other to add, edit, update and delete contacts.How can I add special settings to my dnn module (using vb)?

I'm just curious as to how some software programs that I see out there have the ability to extract links & text from thousands of web pages at an extremely high and fast rate. Has anyone here, ever created a link or text extracting program the has the ability to parse many webpages and return data into a textbox? I know how to extract links via the webbrowser control, but it doesn't seem to parse/extract data at a very high & fast rate like many email, link & text extracting programs that I see out there.

I am getting the error on the above underlined statement saying that Protected Readonly Property InnerChannel is not accessible in this context because it is declared asa Protected.As far as i think,if i declare a property in class as 'Protected' then if this class is inherited by 'another' class then i can use this property and it should not throw an error.

This excerpt of code is using the NXOpen API. In the NXOpen API, the MultiTextBox class is public. However, when I compile the code I get the message:
'NXOpen.UIStyler.MultiTextBox.Protected Sub New(ptr As System.IntPtr)' is not accessible >in this context because it is 'Protected'
My question is, how am I getting an error about protected scope? Could it also be that the API documentation is incorrect?

I am busy with a Windows Forms application.The purpose of the application is to convert Excel documents to HTML format so that they can be published to a website.I have most of the code finished and the application is looking really good.I have although encountered a problem. On the Form I have created an Export, File and Edit button.With the edit button I would like the user to be able to select whether they would like to save the 1st,2nd,3rd sheet and so forth.
I would like to create a window/Form within the edit button that would say something like "select excel sheet" along with a save button where the required sheet number could be saved or selected as a standard save procedure everytime.I know that I need to do this with the settings.settings control. I have tried numerous ideas up until now but it continues to baffle me.

my webbrowser navigates to a webpage. I need to store all the links into a collection, I did find the code to do the job (on this forum) and it works, but there is a problem: there are more links on the page than those the code reads, like when i right click on a picture and choose "copy shortcut" I get a link that is not showing when I display the "view source" for the entire page. I can't figure out how to do it.

In this file some cells are merged. After copying to the new sheet the formatting of the sheet does not remain same. Columns sizes are changing. Why this problems occurs? I have a form that adds new contacts. New contacts are added by pressing an appropriate button and they appear as an entry in the list on the form. I try now to add an edit button that will edit existing entries.User will select a given entry on the list and press edit button and will be presented with an appropriate form (AddContFrm).Right now it simply adds another entry with the same title. Logic is handled in a class called Contact.vb Here is my code.

I am trying to download a file into a directory. Basically when the user presses a button the code will make a folder and download a file into that folder. I want to make that folder inside an Atari Program Files. It Reads "C:Program FilesAtariRollerCoaster Tyccon 3 PlatinumCars..Inside the cars directory i want to make a folder but when i try it fails. but when i change the whole path to my desktop it doesn't fail.

I'm currently using an unmanaged library written in C++ and imported via <DLLImport()> to access a dos virtual device driver, and that works fine. However, I'd like to be able to do this via my .NET application (without requiring an accompanying DLL). So, I'm trying to write to the virtual dos device using the kernel32 API and WriteFile, however I receive the error: "Attempted to read or write protected memory."
Mapping to the device with DefineDosDevice and CreateFile (also in the kernel32 API) works fine and returns a valid file handle, however when I attempt to write to the file it fails. I've even tried marshaling the data to an unmanaged block of memory using InteropServices (AllocHGlobal and StructureToPtr) and then writing it from there, however I still receive the same error.

I am using VB to query a MySQl database and populate an Excel spreadsheet. All is working well, but now I would like to start distributing the spreadsheet shroughout the company and cannot protect it.If I protect the spreadsheet the VB cannot add the MySQL data, so I added an unprotect line at the start of the code. I have several files that are linked to other files but due to certain information in each file they are password proected. I wrote the program to open each file and than close in a particular order so that all files are updated and than closed. Here is the problem: I can not get the program to auto enter the password.
The code is simple so far

The problem is that I have to enter the password in for all files. Which of course the average user will not have. Can somebody please help with the code for the password. If you post a code use the password "team" so that I know exactly how to do the code.

I am programming using VB-2005 on a Vista Based machine. I am trying programmatically to open a PDF file that is Password Protected. I have worked out the steps required to open a non-protected PDF. Adobe tells me that it is not possible to pass a password to the PDF using the objects that come with the PDF Control. My question is can this be done in some other way, e.g. with WinExist etc.? Is WinExist and other such commands even available in Visual Basic?
