How To Compare Cells From Datagrid

I'm trying to write an alarm clock application. When the program runs, a clock is displayed along with an 'Alarms' button. If the user presses the 'Alarms' button a new form opens with a datagrid with 2 colums, 'Time' + 'Message'. What I want to do is have the user enter a time and a message. The tick event should check the times entered in the datagrid, and when it reaches a time entered, the appropiate message is displayed.The problem I am having is how do I extract data from the cells of the datagrid. I want to compare it with the current time but am unsure how to do it. I've attached my sample code so far which just declares a time on the main form and shows message when time is reached.[code]

i wanna compare my cells in datagridview. I have a datagridview with n columns and n rows. I have my datagridview row value as Time . I need to compare all the row cell values with one particular time.
Here you go with an example.
if my dgv is filled with time values such as 3:42:10 AM 4:43:17 PM etc..I need to compare all the cell values to 5:00:00 PM. greater than condition. I need to highlight only the values which are greater than 5:00:00 PM but less than 3:30:00 AM.

Im using this code to populate a datagridview:

I have a mature VB6 program that depends heavily on flexgrids for the display.It appears that DataGrids are somewhat of a replacement for flexgrid?I need to update individual cells over and over and I don't see how to address a single cell. Appears to me that most samples are tied to a database which I don't have.If I set up a datagrid that is say 3x3, how do I read and write from and to say the center cell?

I'm extracting data form a mysql using a huge query made up of three unions to searc on different tables for a telephone number. e.g. contacts, leads, etc.Iy workd perfectly in a sql tool and is well tested.When I run the query in visual studio, I get a result, two columns contaon the same image you get when a webpage image link is boken. These columns should contain a mobile phone number and an ID.Both are stored on mysql as varchars.No data is presented for these columns even though it exists with gaps

My main goal is to have an excel spreadsheet that automatically plots the overall success of my stock portfolio over time (% change over time). I've been able to incorporate stock data into my spreadsheet by linking it to the web, but the trouble is the spreadsheet will keep no history of what the previous stock values were, so I can't graph how things change over time. This sounds like it might be too complicated to be built in to excel, so I was wondering if anyone knew how to program this in Visual Basic. Maybe something like this.... If refresh then new cell plus new time stamp. Another possibility would be to have a whole bunch of cells that refresh only once but at longer and longer intervals, e.g.,

I have a DataTable and want to connect the cells of one of its columns to cells in some other DataTables.
For example:

I have a datagrid who's ItemsSource is a strongly typed IEnumerable object In this datagrid, I have a checkbox column, a price column, a part name column, and a 'total selling for' column. On checking the checkbox I need to update the total selling for column with the value in the price column. This part I have working, however, how can I get the checkbox to remain checked when this happens?

I have on my form two datagridviews that correspond to the same table. They are both databound. They have been created automatically through dragging them from the datasources windows.One is datagridview and the other datagridview1. When ever I navigate through a datagrid the corresponding row on the other grid changes as well. I do not want this. Also I want to be able to fill and use each datagrid indepentent from each other. To fill a datagridview on load I use this code

I have a search form on that will be pulling search template queries from a table in the underlying (an Access db on a share). The search form has a calendar control for filtering by date range, a listbox containing the names of the search templates, a second listbox which lists the fields in the selected template, and then some controls which show/hide themselves depending on which field is selected so that the user can pick a field and enter it's unique criteria in the appropriate control for filtering. Below these controls is a DataGrid, which will obviously display the results.
The problem is how to dynamically "transform" this DataGrid to display the selected search template. These templates do not represent tables in the underlying; rather they represent preconstructed SQL queries (stored in a table) which are essentially SELECT queries with joins and no WHERE clause (so they are the results of multiple tables joined together by their keys).
To be honest, I'm having trouble even generating the LINQ queries to represent these template dynamically, but that's not as important, since I can manually translate the SQL queries into LINQ. This is definitely not the preferred method, as the whole point of putting these templates in a table, rather than code, was to allow for future additions without rebuilding/redistributing the application interface.

what are the differences between the WPF Datagrid included in the .NET Framework 4.0 versus the Datagrid included in the out-of-band WPF Toolkit? I understand that the toolkit version was released first, and targets the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.
I needed a WPF datagrid quick and have utilized the toolkit version in my applications. I'm considering moving the application to .NET 4.0 and am wondering what the pros/cons will be in changing out my existing datagrids for the new ones.
