Switch .NET Runtime Version Like JVM?
Jun 19, 2009There is a machine in which .NET v1.1.4322 was installed and also .NET v2.0.50727/v3.0/v3.g were installed.Can we switch these runtime version for each applications like Java applications?Or we can not switch runtime and we can just use only the installed latest version in the machine?

Visual Studio - Switch Between Forms In Same Form
Aug 16, 2011I am trying to make a UI that has a few forms / panels, each for a different "Tab" in the program.
I am guessing that the way to do this is using panels and code like:
Panel1.Visible = False
Panel2.Visible = False
Panel3.Visible = False
Panel4.Visible = True
Would I be correct in assuming that this is the best way to go? (I don't want lots of popup forms in the program, looking for the most streamlined way to go).
Also, if this is the correct way to go how would I go about hiding each panel in the IDE so that I can work on each one seperately using the designer view?
Here is the best example application I can think to use: [URL] Each of the tabs (Proxies, Harvester etc) has an image as the tab (Which I can't find an option to do with TabControl and then displays the container / panel below it

Mar 29, 2011I have a form in an application I'm working on that normally displays full screen without a taskbar but provide the option to switch to a minimizable window with a taskbar. When I switch from full screen without taskbar to minimizable window with taskbar everything is ok. When I try to switch back to full screen the border disappears but the taskbar is still there and the form is not aligned properly.The text at the top is cut off somewhat and there's a small margin at the right edge that shouldn't be there.I put this code in a keydown event for the form.

Sep 13, 2011i am in runtime mode and have a form open. I do some calculations on it and based on those i generate some lines of VB code (concatenated and saved in a local variable). Is there a VB command that i can use that will take this code and INSERT it into another form?
i could copy the code, exit runtime, go to design mode and paste it into the form myself but because i want to do this for several subs for a lot of forms then it will become very time consuming.

Also labels with given TEXT are also to be created when create label button is clicked. then we should be able to print the form contents as it appears but without any buttons. VS 2008 Form Design At Runtime?
Jul 24, 2009I have a question regarding the manipulation of a form at runtime. Let's say I created a simple form in the form designer before runtime containing a couple of buttons, text boxes and labels. While the program is running, I would like to change properties of these controls, while having the ability to move them around, along with the addition of newer controls, say a listbox.
After the form is 're-designed', I would like to save the new settings of my form, in either a database or settings file. Whats the best way to implement this?
