I have a situation where I am handling both single & double mouse click events on a form. In both cases something has to be loaded, however when a double click occurs, I do not wish to execute the code attached to the single click event.Is there a way to intercept the mouse click's and check if double or single and then execute the right event appropriately?

My grid double click works, but when it repaints with the new data, a single click fires the double click. I have no code in place to handle a single click .
The interesting thing is that it is (in my case) a toggle. If I double click, on the repaint, a single click fires the double click code. When it repaints again, I need a double click .
The double click code fires off a messagebox - if I tell it not to continue, then I have to double click to get it to fire again. So it is not dependant on what data is displayed.

View 10 RepliesI am trying to make a program that AUTO left clicks the mouse according to a set second interval (This will be repeated in a loop) What I got so far is test event going on because of course you have to brake the loop somehow and stop the emulation of the left mouse click.
I have on my form a Text box and I dont know how to go about this. I want the Keyboard buttons A & S to be used to start and Stop the Loop and the Textbox to take in the input form the user in seconds.. and loop it until the user pusses S to stop..
1).. Use the Textbox on the form to let the user input the time interval between clicks...
2).. Use The Keyboard's (A) Key to START the program's Double Left Click Loop.

5).. The Emulation of the Clicking itself has to work in all Windows Maximized or Windowed Full-screen even on the desktop or within other programs like games. (EXAMPLE: Can run when a game is running at Full screen or windowed.
I'm sorta confused on how to do this seeing that I never dealt with emulation or events with the mouse itself. However I do know that there has to be certain key press events and a true or false statements placed in code.

When they first start using the application, they can single click on the buttons in the flash movie and button responds accordingly. However, the image is small and they can't see it clearly. So I would like to make the image clearer by making it bigger when mouse hoover and double click. On my form is a listbox whose items - when clicked - will execute a separate vbscript file (for WMI) and display the results from the WMI in a multiline TextBox that's read from a text file.
My problem is that I have to click an item in the ListBox twice to view the WMI results in the textbox. It's like 1 click executes the vbscript, another click writes the results to the textbox. A third click does both.
All the activity (retrieval of the target computer, creation/modification of text file, execution of the vbscript and writes to the TextBox) happen in the SelectedIndexChanged event handler.
if you can simulate a "double click" when you click a button. What I mean is that,
1 - you click on the button,
2 - the button behaves as if it were clicked twice.
I need this because for some reason, some of the buttons on my form that give focus to a PDF reader need to be clicked twice in a row to work. I think this is because with the component, there are different areas to give focus, but you can only just say "AxAcroPDF.Focus" .

Is there any way to disable this double click feature? Or possibly change it so if you press CTRL and click it automatically brings up the Code?
