JQuery DatePicker - Allowing Only Past And Today Date
Oct 26, 2009
I am using VB.net as well as Jquery Datepicker for getting dates.
In my VB.net code
<tr><td>
DateOfReceiving:
</td><td colspan="3">
<asp:TextBox ID="DateOfReceivingTextBox" runat="server"
CssClass="pastdatepicker"
Text="DateOfReceiving" />
</td></tr>
I want to allow enter user only todays date or past date with format dd/mm/yyyy. I want vb.net custom validation for that. How to write vb.net regular expression.
I Currently have events set in my datepicker based of my filter.js file that uses something like: [code..]
I have these dates stored in a mysql db and I need to pull the dates from it instead of a static js file. Dates can be added, changed, etc.I'm using vb .net
i have a textbox1 in my asp.net webform which shows the server side date i want the user would not select date using jquery datepicker earlier than the date in the textbox1 i m using the following code to show jquery calendar in other textbox2 :
We have a very massive system where reports are run off dates from specific days through to today's date using various definitions of "GenerateSalesReport(DateStart, Date.Now)". For debugging purposes I want to simulate reports that occurred in the past so I need to change the object "Date. Now" to a specific date from the past on my development environment. Can you override date. Now?
I'm trying to write a program which compares the difference between any date in the past and the system date, showing how many days have elapsed since that date. This is what I've got so far:
Code: Public Class Form1 Private Sub TextBox2_TextChanged(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) End Sub
[code]....
That's what it looks like so far. I was wondering how you can automate the top label so it automatically comes up with the date when the program is run.Plus, I need to know how to display the dates difference (how many days have elapsed between the system date and the user's chosen date) in the bottom label.
i have problem when display date data from database to display on DatePicker.the error is: "Conversion from string "30/08/2011" to type 'Date' is not valid."
this vb vb.net dtPO.Value = CDate(dtt.Rows(0).Item("po_date"))
data in database is "30/08/2011", not error if data "07/04/2011"
I need to define weeks for my app. So I want to select a certain week of a month. then I want to tick the days that apply and save those dates to a table.
I'm using visual studio. I would like to change <DBNULL> default value of table date column into Today Date. I have try with lot of strings, but could not get right value. My goal is when I will create new record, column for date will take today's date.
How can I pick out files using todays date? I have files that have dates and times in a folder, 08-25-2010-123803654.xml, 08-25-2010-123804441.xml, 08-24-2010-123851240.xml, etc. I want to pull out just todays entrys and when i put in my code it gives me an error.
Does anyone now how to get the first (next) wednesday (whatever) after today? I need to to this for the 6 following months. I only need the date of them. Anyone with some good pointers?
As the properties Value of the date/time picker does not allow to enter the DateTime. Now default value, I have tried to set it in the code:[code]It indeed shows the current date on opening the form with the date/time picker. However one cannot set any other date from the drop down calendar (one can choose a date, what means that the calendar is dropped down allowing to point a date, but after clicking the choice the date/time picker value returns to the current date).
Im using vb.net to create a program for customers. The point is that when the customer comes and pay i want to print the invoice with only today date and payment.
I have a dateTimePicker and I set the maxdate to today's date Now when a user select the date after today's date it won't select it but it still be displayed. How can I remove them or disable them do the users can't even click on the date if it is after today's date
I have a textbox that get the date from the system itself, is working good and I have another textbox that will get the date that the person needs to bring the Book back. I wont the person to type the date but the program do it automatically (something like 20/04/2009 + four days=24/04/2009) automatically, something like if the person took the book on todaydate(20/04/2009) the function add more 3 days and display on textboxreturn( 24/04/2009). I don't want the person to type the return date, but to build a function that do it.... 0&1Bytes
I tried to accomplish this via a MailMessage.Headers.Set call, in VB.net. See below:
Dim objMail As MailMessage Dim objSMTPClient As SmtpClient objMail = New MailMessage() objSMTPClient = New SmtpClient()
[Code]...
To be clear: I am not doing this with malicious intent. I am working on an e-mail integration component that utilizes both UIDs and a "Last processed" date to locate the first new e-mail to integrate. I want to test cases where multiple e-mails have the exact same date/time - as the e-mail integration module should handle those situations flawlessly. If I could simply fake the date this way, I could send as many e-mails as I wanted that matches a certain date/time, rather than trying to send them with an automated script - hoping they will all be received within the same second.
Friend WithEvents dtpReportDate As System.Windows.Forms.DateTimePicker
The default date picker has left arrow and right arrow which allow you to browser previous month and following month. I add a handler to date picker valuechanged event:
Private Sub dtpReportDateChanged(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs)
'do something here
End Sub
The problem is that whenever I click left arrow or right arrow to change month, the dptReportDateChanged is triggered. I do not want this happens. All I want is that after I find a month, I double click date to trigger the event.
I am using the sample datetimepicker code from the Microsoft web site in a databound datagridview. This works fine if I use the combobox dropdown button and select a date. Is there a way to use today's date by default and not specifically selecting it?
The user can only input today's date and tomorrow's date. How can I get it? Example valid dates are: Today's date: March 01, 2011 and tomorrow's date: March 02, 2011 if the dates are not valid then error.
Dim DD As String : Dim MM As String : Dim YYYY As String Dim DDMMYYY As String DD = Now.Day : MM = Now.Month : YYYY = Now.Year If DD.Length = 1 Then DD = 0 & DD If MM.Length = 1 Then MM = 0 & MM DDMMYYY = MM & "/" & DD & "/" & YYYY MskTxtBoxDate.Text = DDMMYYY
I have a form where a user can choose an election date. One of the most frequent errors users make is entering the incorrect due dates of reports. Therefore, I am attempting to generate the report due dates in the application using the report guidelines. For instance, reports are due 32 and 15 days prior to the election and 30 and 60 days after an election.
I know the following won't work but you get the jest of what I am attempting to do. I am assuming I will need to break down the month, day and year somehow before I subtract or add the days to the date to get the actual report date.
I have noticed that hwen i set the datetime programmatically on the wpf datepicker the writing "show calendar" does not disappear but remains visible underneath the date passed?is there a way to solve this problem
I am teaching myself VB while creating a basic application I can use at work. Is there something in VB that will calculate a past and future date from a specific date. For instance, an Election Date falls on November 2, 2011. Once this election date is entered I want the program to calculate the reporting dates. The first report due is due exactly 32 days prior to the election. The 30 day post is due 30 days after the election.
If i double click on the dataset. i am not sure which statement to write to restrict the user so that he/she cannot enter the date in the past. i have droped the data set on the form and my data entry is through datagrid view.
New to VB.NET Programming. Im trying to set the dates pickable on a Date Time Picker to the current day and onwards, i do not want someone to be able to chose DateToBeShipped to yesterday for example.
I'm using the ErrorProvider in VB.Net (2005) which is associated with a BindingSource that is bound to a custom object that I have created. This custom object contains a date field that has a "Date" data type that. I am using a "TextBox" to bind the date field in my form. My issue is, whenever the TextBox loses focus and is blank, "String not recognized as a valid DateTime" is displayed by the ErrorProvider and the focus can't be changed to any other control on the Form. It's good that the ErrorProvider validates entries on Date fields by default (I didn't set up my custom object to display this particular error for the date), but it should allow blank values. I want the user to be able to have a blank date with no error message displayed. How can this be done using a Date field bound to a TextBox?
