i have a data grid which is populated with codes not bound and a binding navigator as well which is also not bounded to any Table adapter but i want to be able to move through these items with the navigator. That is if i click on the next button i move to the next record in the grid

I am trying to add datagridview control in my custom control but i failed.I started creating new project[windows custom control library], added datagridview control on it and also added a property naming "DGVMain" which refers to datagridview control.I compiled it.
While testing i find its properties like visible and other working but when i click on columns property it doesn't work. i.e i cannot add/edit columns into the datagridview of my custom control.
Did i miss any steps or do i need to add some more actions?
I am creating an application for a college assignment called "Quote Manager" - the idea is a writer can save his / her favourite quotes, then go back to them and be able to print them.So I had this idea where all the quotes are loaded into a datagrid view on the main screen of the program and the user can double click on the quote he / she wants to load.

I also want to setup a query in the query builder which will search the database according to the ID but i cant get it right i dont know why. i type in the form filter this: LIKE @ID + '%'. how I can disable the various button on a BindingNavigator control? For instance, if a user is adding a member I want to disable the Delete button and all of the Move arrows, plus the ability to change the Position number.The same applies to clicking the Delete button. The thing that I can't figure out is that it looks OK in design mode, but at run time, the custom binding navigator shows 2 "Close" buttons. Only one of them will close the form when clicked, the other one doesn't function. See the attached image.

These two fields have been populated with false and true values.
On my form, I have a datagridview which is populated with various values from tblProjectpatients.
The problem am facing is that the checkbox's for Yes and No on the datagridview are empty at runtime eventhough at the backend they have either False or True values.
I am expecting the checkbox showing on the datagridview to be either checked or Not Checked depending on the True or false values.
