I have a small vb.net application that fires a crystal report through crystal viewer.
The report uses an ODBC connection provided by 32-bit software accounts package, which is installed in the ODBC 32-bit This all works fine on 32-bit XP and 32-bit Win7 with no problems, When run on a win7 64-bit machine the application launches ok, but when it comes to running the report, it prompts for a database logon box for the odbc connection.
When the report is run seperate on its own, on the exact same pc through crystal reports desginer it runs fine, Its almost like the application is not picking the 32-bit ODBC set up is it the case that the connection needs to be coded rather than using the report connection,
From what I read it is a good convention to name a method that returns a boolean value with the prefix of "is" or "has". So in keeping with this convention I am trying to name a method in my program with this prefix but I am running Specifically I have a class called Day. It is a simple class with a few data members and one method that returns a boolean value of true or false. The name of the boolean variable is isSpecialDay. This class has a method called isSpecialDay which takes the date of the day, applies some criteria to the date and then sets the variable isSpecialDay to true or false. My problem is that the boolean variable is named isSpecialDay and so it the method. What should I do?

I am tryin to access a 2003 Microsoft Access Database using VB in an OleDb format. The database file name is Billings.mdb and there are 3 tables in the file the one I am trying to access is tbl Clients. From the above statement, I would like retrieve several data and the count of Traceid from trn_Invt_Details where the traceid in trn_Invt_Details match with traceid in trn_Invt. I am using vb.net 2005. I am trying to select data from a table where the field [hoteldate] is 2 days from now. The field's format is MM/dd/YYYY and when I use the Where clause :WHERE HOTELDATE = DATEADD([DAY], 2, GETDATE()) it returns nothing.
