The application is issueing a message and I'm using some api controls to respond so that it doesn't stop but they are ignored. here's the code I'm using and I'm hoping someone will look at it and tell me what's wrong. The odd thing is it works on my laptop (Windows 7 Pro 64 bit) but fails on my desktop maching (same OS).

I am launching a 3rd party application from my windows form

There is a "SAVE" button and a tool bar on the is application. Is it possible to click the button on this application as soon as it is launched or click (Alt + F) on the toolbar programmatically without clicking the mouse or keyboard.
When I run my application and click the exit button, in debug mode I can still see my application running. How can I stop this? I don't want to forcefully end the application, I would like to find out what section of code is still running so I can end that instead abruptly ending the program.

But after the application closes there is still memory being held in Processes by the application. However, when pressing the [X] in the top of the form the application closes again but in this instance it is not held in Processes. How do I write the close for Exit to take into account how the [X] works and close the application cleanly?

I have an windows application (created using visual studio 2005) and it also is using an autocad .api. The user runs Autocad and the user enters various commands that will open forms. One of these forms, contains Windows.Forms.LinkLabels with paths to the autocad drawing files they've attatched (.dwg). When they click on the link, I need the file to open in the existing Autocad they already have open; however, the problem is that it's opening a new instance of Autocad and placing the file into it. How can I make it so it opens in the existing Autocad program already open? [Code]
View 4 RepliesI believe there wont be any diff if user clicks the button on the form and the click event is fired OR if we call the button click event / function in the code. Because in one my project, this does make diff. If I click the button on the form, the App works great but same button if I click it thru the form code, the whole process crashes. This happens in Vista / VB.net.

I'm brand spanking new and trying to learn VB.net on my own but am doing a horrible job. It seems I can follow basic tutorial instructions and do them correctly but not learn how to do things on my own.

I'm trying to make the program click on the "Join" button on that website, and with the code above it does click on the join button, but it seems to ignore any type of javascript involved with the button, therefore giving some type of website error.
