Passing List Of (integer) To Select Statement?

I have a function that returns a Datatable. I am passing a list of Integer as an argument. Then I thought tis would work.
Public Function GetEventsByEventType(ByVal EventType As List(Of Integer), ByVal DayInterval As Integer) As DataTable
Using con As New MySqlConnection(strCon)

as you can see. I use string.join to convert the list of integer to something like this. '1,2,3'. Problem is that is read as a string so i get the incorrect results. I need to have where EventType IN(1,2,3).

I have a function that takes in a number of parameters.. it then does a db insert.i have a foreign key on one of the fields (modelID)i want to pass a NULL if no model ID is selected.[code]but now i get an error saying: Nullable object must have a value.if i pass in a 0, it does not insert because it breaks the DB constraints.

My problem is that I have two forms, Form1 and Form2 ...on Form1 there is a TextBox called txtTotal (this contains the calculation of Ticket Prices, thus it's a numeric value) and on Form2 there is a TextBox called txtTotal2. All I want to do is get the same number that appears in txtTotal on Form1 to appear in txtTotal2 on Form2 .However whenever I try some of the help tips online such as using a declaring txtTotal as global or friend it dosn't work, and any other code iv tried attempts pass the textbox value as String which brings an error.

I have implemented inheritance for two parent classes called Table and Field. Each parent class has several child classes. In the Table parent class, I created a method that expects parameter List(Of Field).
I get an error when trying to pass in parameter List(Of ChildField) to the method that expects a parameter of List(Of Field). The error message is as below:

Im creating a quick utility program that deletes any invalid data within my database. This works fine and im happy with it. I was thinking why not backup this table first before modifying the bad data, easy! I was Wrong. Seems to be a problem with my sql command and the way vb passes it.

If I can generate a list of random integer with a click of the button and put the results in a list box using VB.Net but how do I randomly change several integer number generated by button 1 by clicking button 2? How I retain the results of button1 and change the results when clicking button2?I try before but the two button function code cannot relate to one another.

My Problem: I am using the Try parse to validate weather the inputA(B)(C) is an integer or not, if it is an integer, i want it to move to the nested if and validate that it is a positive number, and show the error message in the label if it is not. If it is not a number at all i want it to show another message in the label. The problem that I am getting is that even if i put in a letter for the input it does not catch it and it continues on to the select case, which comes out 0.

I am used to C like languages such as C#. I added a list box with a list of names. In the code behind I added the below code. When I run the code I am getting the MessageBox but it will state "UserName favorite color is " but does not show the color. I thought it might be misspelled or non-matching names but this is not the issue due to the names being correct.

To use code to select an image for a PictureBox I can do this:PictureBox.Image = My.Resources._1, where 1.png is the name of the image file I want seen in the PictureBoxI want to use a randomly generated integer to select which image is seen in the PictureBox.5 would select 5.png12 would select 12.pngThe .png files are already in the Resources folder.I can generate the random integer and have it in an intVariable but I don't know how to use it to to tell the PictureBox Image property what to do.

Jst recently i came across the select() method of data table and felli n love with it instantaneously.
Basically I want query the data table on a date field, unfortunately the format of the date string returned from y database in to data-table and the date string i'm passing as inputs are different.
How can i make sure that the data is compared irrespective of the formats ? Can I use something like SqlParameters whoes data type is date for comparison ??
this is what i'm tying :

dt.select("StzDate ='" & dat "'")
entry in datateable dt : StzDate : 3/1/2009 12:00:000
Am I do'in something wrong ??

I have a datatable and I would like to get the MAX number from this table where Term Number (first Column) is a certain value. If my datatable is declared as dtMyTable, I'm assuming I need to use dtMyTable.Select(), but I'm not sure if this is the best way.
