Nor does anything like Keys.OEMPeriod for the period(del) key. I've also tried calling the enter key in a KeyPress event etc. But to no avail. Any ideas? I'm trying to mimic Windows calc.exe for a school project and thought I'd try throwing in a few extras such as numeric keypad functionality.

Apr 19, 2012I'm trying to make a program that allows the user to click on labels which have a number in it and then that value has to be stored into a different label.
For example the user click on label1 and the values goes into label12, then it click on label3 and the values goes to label13 and so on.
At the moment I can only code on the respective label underneath (1->12,2->13...) but it has to be in any order (5->12,7->13...)

Nov 5, 2010I have a button on a datagridview (dgproducts)that when clicked, sends the data from that row to another datagridview called (DgSelectedProducts) in a Keypress. The button on dgproducts is unbound and is (0) and is named AddProductsButton in the collection. I am using a barcode scanner into txtboxsearchbarcodeID so that when the user enters the barcode to the textbox it finds the barcode in the dgproducts it filters down to that item.
When I say filter I mean all the items that do not match are not shown on the dgproducts datagridview. Only a single item can match. That part works ok. The problem that I am having is that I do not know how to perform a click on the cell(0) ie addproductsbutton so that the item is passed from the dgproducts to the dgselectedproducts when the item is scanned. This is for a POS form so it needs to do this.

Presently, if I have 3 records I have to click the button 3 times to manage to insert all the records. So on the first, then the fifth, then the tenth etc. I know I could do it by adding 1 to a settings variable every startup, but I can't figure out how to check if it is a multiple of five. Dec 9, 2009I have a datagridview comboboxcolumn populated with jobs. these jobs have a wage attached to them. for example job "Policeman" has a wage of R20.I have 5 checkboxcolumns for each day of the week as well. so if I check 3 of the checkboxes and have the job "Policeman" selected, I must then calculate the weekly wage (3*20=60) and display the wage in the weekly wage column. which event is best to handle this.

I used the proper addhandler and assigned the correct name to my sub. I have the click event changing the background color to blue and the doubleclick event changing the background color to green. The background color does not change to green. Why?

Creating A Hotkey Which Perform A Button Click In The Form?
Jan 18, 2011I am currently developing a small capture system program. What I intend to do is to create a hot key for my program to capture image (press F8 then it will invoke a button to click automatically). What I manage to do for the time being is only registerHotkey procedure. (Please refer to the coding below). I am unable to create a hot key which perform like a button click.
This is just a testing program: I have 2 forms specifically. Form1 with a button and form2 with a picture box.
I would like to run this program where I can just simply click F8(for instance) instead of clicking the button.
For the time being I am able to run this program and put it in the system tray when I minimize/closed it. When I click F9 the program will pop up again. What I would like to do now, is clicking F8 (for instance and the program able to click a button from form 1 automatically). I had used PerformClick but still unable to do so.

Email Address
Resolved Email Address (calculated based on the input in Email Address)
After the user inputs or changes a value in Email Address, I want the value in Resolved Email Address to update based on a separate method. What event should I tie in to so that that the Resolved Email Address cell is updated after the Email Address cell is updated?I'm not sure where to put the event because the user could do a number of things after adding/changing a value: tab to the next cell, click cancel on the form, click ok on the form, etc.

The Add-In when installed shows an error on clicking the short cuts. It says the specific macro cannot be found.The code under the Sub EnableShortCut() works well when it is in an excel vba module. The same won't work when it is added to an Excel Add-In created with Visual Studio.
