ScriptSerializer Unable To Parse Data Type

I have some JSON data that looks like this[code]...
I get one root object with key "data", and value another object with 2 children, with keys "name" and "id", and the appropriate values one might expect. But when I try to cast that object to my UserData type, it returns Nothing. I had this code working at some point, but now that I am returning to it and attempting to use it again, it seems some code rot has set in and it has stopped working.

I have an InvalidCastException Error in my program. The program is that i try to insert an employee record into a database table after getting the details from a form. I've used Money data type is SQL Server for salary and SqlTypes.SqlDecimal data type in employee template class. i've used a stored procedure to pass the values and i add the basic value by passing a parameter by the method

I've used the money datatype itself even in the stored procedure variable.I get the following error.

I'm having a real problem with serializing data. I understand that its designed to basically copy the structure and data of a structure. In my case, I have the state of a DVD that i would like to save (persist) to disk. I have this line in some
Integer.TryParse(ThisRow.Item("DatumID").ToString, n)
ThisRow is a datarow. The "DatumID" in this case happens to be an empty string, but is not Null. When I break on this line, and try to evaluate it by highlighting it and pressing Shift+F9, I get the message "Unable to evaluate expression". Interestingly, it is actually evaluating correctly (since the item holds an empty string, TryParse returns False).
I have tested this in every way I could think of (mostly I thought I had left out a parenthesis in my expression, but that wasn't true). So why won't that expression evaluate when tested, even though it is actually working correctly?

I am implementing IMAPI2 into my vb.net project but ran into a wall. I am getting the message Unable to cast object of type 'IMAPI2FS.FsiStreamClass' to type 'IMAPI2.IStream' when trying to start the burn. I googled around and found this is something that microsoft hasn't fixed.. which basically renders IMAPI2 useless in vb.net.
I found a post on codeproject.com by eric hadden who combined the IMAPI2.dll and IMAPI2fs.dll into an c# interop file. I also see the IBURN interop in microsoft SDK samples. I'd like to use either, but it's in c# and I'm using vb express. Does anyone know a way to get the interop into visual basic or a way around "Unable to cast object of type 'IMAPI2FS.FsiStreamClass' to type 'IMAPI2.IStream'"?

I'm having a problem with converting from one source type to a destination type. I have a form with 2 buttons (button 2 uses the OpenFileDialog to have the user open an excel file set to NewFile),(button 1 takes the contents from specific cells in NewFile and arranges them how I need into oXLApp1).

So I was trying to make one for that guy, which would have one more property to check whether its has reached end or not. Columns 0 & 1 are filled from a DataAdapter from Access Database and three are added. I had this working, but I changed it to check for the column "Feed" so I could add several Locations. At first this worked,but I did someething in perfecting it and it now fails after filling the first row of the datagridview (dgvFdMed).I ran a check and the table LotsTab has 8 rows filled. Column 1 & 2 are strings and the database appears they are fine. The added columns have just been created with no value. My plan is to enter the values and then use the data from the grid.

I am trying to use Microsoft.VisualBasic.FileIO.TextFieldParser for parsing any format of tab delimited text file that user may have and show the data in web page in tabular fashion.I have sample tsv file with text qualifiers such as quotes saved in different encoding styles for different platforms such as pc, unix, mac saved using textpad. and I am trying to parse these using TextFieldParser. It works for all PC files but fails for mac.

Having a few problems trying to parse a CSV in the following format using the FileHelpers library. It's confusing me slightly because the field delimiter appears to be a space, but the fields themselves are sometimes quoted with quotation marks, and other times by square brackets. I'm trying to produce a RecordClass capable of parsing this.Here's a sample from the CSV:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - - [14/Jun/2008:18:04:17 +0000] "GET http://www.some_url.com HTTP/1.1" 200 73662339 "-" "iTunes/7.6.2 (Macintosh; N; Intel)"
It's an extract from an HTTP log we receive from one of our bandwidth providers.
