The AxAcroPDF Control dosnt have the mouseup and mouse down declatations so i am unable to easily adapt the code.

I am still working on my AiO Program, and although I am not at the point of including character sheets as PDF format. I decided to include the AxAcroPDF COM Component. I am getting the error that is in the attached picture.

i'm working on a MDI application and need to view a ".PDF" files in a MDI child form, but when using the AxAcroPDF control it doesent work, note that it works fine when viewing the form separately from the MDI application.

The PDF is 28 Megs big and takes some time to load into the reader.I would like a progress bar to to show (like a showdialog kind of thing) so the user does not click all over the place and thinks the app is static.I have searched and read all about the progressbar and there are many articles dealing with downloading and moving files around but nothing in terms of file loading and how to get a progressbar to reflect the status of the file being loaded.[code]
How would I update the progressbar1 control to reflect the time it takes to load? I checked the AxAcroPDFLib Namespace and found no "progresschange" type of functions or events.Can some one please help a new guy out? I am fairly new to vb.net so please be as specific as possible.
I have a small application (in VB.NET 2008) which gives the user the option to open a PDF document. This document is stored on a mapped network drive and is loaded in to the AxAcroPDF Control.
When closing my application I get the following message

I've been google-ing this error message, but seen only a lot of problems, but no solutions.
I also tried using the WebBrowser Control, but this gives the same error.

i am want to draw lines on a picture for my project.Apart from the PictureBox1.Refresh() function, i wanted to know which other functions can be applied to a PictureBox.Moreover, I am trying to draw a line from a point to another several times on the same picture.I am actually using the PictureBox1.Refresh() that is not effective in my case when I want all the lines I draw to remain on that same picture. Currently, when I am trying to draw another line, the first one is cleared and the new one only is shown.

I support a program that captures a drawings from a digitizer tablet. The tablet functions as sort of a mouse and the user uses a Stylus to draw (sign) their name into documents. An issue that has come up is that the user signs their name but the line that the signature is build with has noticable holes in it. Kind of like having a pen that skips when you write. The information is communicated into a PictureBox using a DrawLine Function where it passes the line color, the previous point and the current point.Kind of stuck with this, not sure why the tablet would produce a spotty signature when the stylus is in contact the whole time with the tablet. I have yet to port out the line x,y points to see if the tablet is producing consistent points but this is the next step.

The user can do this 10 times... (so 10 lines)...But if the user presses a cancel button, the last line drawn shall be removed (and the user can click until he is back at 0)..Would I use PenColor white here (to draw over the line)? View 1 RepliesI am trying to draw a bus route as a simple sequence of lines. Nothing fancy. But instead of lines, I'm getting wedges. Initially I was fine with this, because the wedges sortof look like arrows and always face towards the second point. But now I want to improve the look, and the wedges are becoming a big problem.
My suspicion is some sort of floating-point issue due to the graphics transform (lat/lons are fed in and the transform turns them into x/y on the bitmap [assuming lat/lon is euclidean is accurate enough for my purposes], so the scaling is several orders of magnitude).

It actually kind of looks like the line was split into two triangles but only one of them was drawn.

Using DrawLines instead of DrawLine solves the issue (but why?) Increasing the pen thickness makes the issue go away (but the lines are too thick) Zooming out (increasing lat/lon view window) makes the issue go away, eventually (but I want to zoom in!)
Hi, I'm using the Drawline method by capturing coordinates entered into 4 textboxes and then printing the image onto a picturebox. However, I can't get the previous line to be redrawn along with the new line that needs to be drawn. I understand that it refreshes when using the picturebox.refresh() function.

Is there any way to have 2d graphics that gets made by user through manual dimensions input be bound to a text box?
Is there any way to take position 1000,600 and make that zero? Can we make graphics by inputting only the next co-ordinate and have the pc automatically draw a line from last point?

After running into much difficulty getting started on my little planner attachment, I found this C# program (calendar_src) floating around on the net...somewhere. So I have been working on trying to convert this from C# to VB, which I have been using an online converter. From what I know I have been going through and trying to edit the code after it has been converted to VB code as best as I can. But now I have limited the errors from over 50 to these:

Not only this, the VB main Form1 isn't showing the "DayView1" control that the C# one is. When I first created the VB app, I didn't know how to make 2 projects in 1, so it's probably wrong altogether...but I tried. The only reasons I am wanting to go off of someone else's control is because it only lacks 1 feature that I want, and that's having a full month view, not just limited to 1-3-5-7 day views.

i have been connected listbox with data set contains 1 table (view) by binding source i need to view 1 field as menu by this listboxbut i need to retrieve other field value when i click on the listbox control bto be able to make query for another table also i tried sucessfully with listboxcontrol.selectedvalue properety and i was sucessfull but when i click on the listbox the selection of raw going to the first item filled in the listbox control how can i set the selection on item as normaly happened when i click on the list box?
View 6 RepliesI've just started checking out Chart controls for VS .NET. I've downloaded and installed MS Chart Controls for .NET Framework 3.5 and ZedGraph.I'm trying to decide which would be my best choice. In VB6 I used RMCharts and liked it alot.
ZedGraph, like VS2005, is made to work with .NET Framework 2.0 and seems user friendly. Alot of my clients are still using XP machines without .Net Framework 3.5.

View 7 RepliesI have a panel wich inherits from FlowLayoutPanel. I add a lot of picturebox to it. I allow the user to navigate through them with arrow keys. Since I have a lot of PictureBox, most of them doesn't appear at the visible rectangle of the panel. I want this panel to scroll to the selected control when user selects it. For select a PictureBox I made a class wich inherits from it and override the OnPaint sub. I also have a field m_selected to determine whether the PictureBox is selected or not. On OnPaint sub if this field is set to true, I draw an orange border to notify the user that this control is selected, otherwise I draw a simple black one. In the panel I also have a m_currentsel field to save the control wich is actually selected. When user selects a control this field contains the selected control.

I have a picture box that blows up (increasses in size) when user performs a mouse over. I noticed that it will be on top of most of my textboxes, but not all? I can set propertie to invisible to ones that bleed through but i cant seem to figure out WHY some bleed through and not others, I have checked all my property settings
