Why is this code having the opposite effect? If It's checked in the checkedlistbox it's not check in my view, if it's not check in my checkedlistbox it is checked in the grid.
EDIT: More specifically. The CheckState.Checked is always the opposite. .Checked means it's not checked.

When I execute the code, the routine only receives one block of the data. However, if I go into debug mode with a breakpoint at the loop instruction, I receive all of the blocks of data.Am I missing something in the code, like a wait or something, that would allow the program to receive all data like happens with the debug?

I have a device that is continuously sending text over a TCP port and I want to write a VB.net application that will read and evaluate this data. Each line of text that arrives over the port can be of varying length and each value in the line is separated by a comma. I need to separate out these values in order to take various actions based on their contents.
The following code appears to read the NetworkStream fine but when I try to read the data into an array and output one field into a text file the code is only catching a few lines of the high number coming through the port.[code]....

I am using a BindingSource to fill all the textboxes on my form. It is working for all the textboxes but for some reason it is not working for my check boxes. The value from the database is a boolean and I am setting the property like this.

I have a form that creates a row of checkboxes depending on the type of analysis the user wants to perform on the incoming file. I need to be able to determine if the checkbox is "checked" but I don't know how to do that when the controls are created at runtime.So right now I have a loop going through all the controls on the form and selecting the appropriate case: for instance chkbox1, combobox1, etc. Now I can access the values of the control by using Me.Controls.Item(chkbox1) but after that the only thing resemebling checked is .Text which wouldn't be accurate. how do you workaround the .Checked property of a checkbox when it is created at runtime?
