im trying to find how can i make some buttons appear on top from other instead of getting behind them.I have programmed a piano and i want all the black keys to appear above from the white ones because they are too small to click and i just cant figure out how to make the white ones stay down instead of hiding my black keys!

I am making a crosshair(for a game) which needs to be absolutely topmost!//. This can only be done if the form's topmost property is true, and the next second false, and then true...etc..
But is there a possibililty to make sure your form is absolutely topmost.. Or make another program/application not topmost so that yours is.
My questions is only about the topmost not about the rest of the application because I have made everything already.
I am making an app that hides the topmost window, but when i do this, it leaves no current window selected. how can i make the highest unselected window selected?

When I use the RadioButton.disabled property, it does the job, but it also dims the button. Is there a way to disable the button without changing it's appearance?

I have tried making a shortcut to the VPN on my desktop and calling it with the Shell method but I get an error saying file not found.
I'm trying to embed a form, which works, but it's under all my controls. It should appear on top of everything.

I need to know how to have a button on a tab to create another button on a second tab that contains a panel, with appropriate spacing, the same size as other buttons already present, and the name of the tab that generated this new button as the text on the newly created button. I.e. button1 on tab1 will create and place a new button on a panel in tab2 that already has a grid of buttons (maybe 3x10 buttons) which will be placed underneath a particular column with the text tab2 on the new button which can also refer back to that tab automatically. Hopefully we can get all this code under a single button event.
I also don't know how to have a button on tab1 that focuses on tab2, which sets the back button on tab2 with a reference to go back to tab1 in order to remain dynamic. I.e. clicking on tab1's button will go to tab2 and set the back button there with a link back to the tab it was referred from.
I'd also like to know if there's an easy way to create and destroy tabs with a specific layout. I.e. We have home tab, and comment tab. (This is for the sake of argument) On the comment tab1 (which contains all posted comments), we have a new comment button which creates a comment tab2 (or a dialog box for that matter) with appropriate textboxes, labels, and buttons in the right places which could also make use of the issues I posted above. So the new comment button on the comment tab1 will create either a new comment tab2 with appropriate objects, or a dialog box with the same, and then the submit button on this comment tab2 or box will create a new textfield/buttons on the panel containing the grid of buttons with the information provided in the fields from comment tab2/dialog box which is then destroyed.
I hope i haven't made the examples too confusing, but I can't figure out how to even make progress in these directions. Trying either fails completely, or semi-fails in getting these examples to function 100%.
I've already tried posting in other forums, but with no replies. Hopefully you all can help me figure this out.EDIT: This is not homework, I have scoured forums and google trying to find the answer to these problems. I'm hoping that because these are mainly VB based forums I can find some answers here.

i need to get some buttons to interact with other buttons on screen when i click then, as each indivual button gives a slightly different result.imagine this:[code]....
then i need then to hide different buttons depending on which button was pressed. so say i pressed button 1 then all the buttons showed but alternativly if i had of pressed 2 then say button 5 and 6 disapear.managed to get one way to work but then i would only ever end up with the first results every time.

But I want to make a Boolean expression for when they are clicked so I can trigger the events to load the game mode selected.
Do I do this through resource code or is there a simply way to do this. My idea seems like it would be bad and not syntaxically correct.

View 1 RepliesI have a piece of software with two tabs, inside each tab there are buttons (the user can add the buttons when they want). when tab1 is full tab2 should start to fill. I currently know how many buttons fit on the screen so I just say something like if buttons > 150 then start to populate tab 2 The problem i have now though is if the resolution is changed then a different amount of buttons can be displayed. so if I put my screen to 1280x720 some buttons are left of. I was thinking of detecting the resolution and then using different cases for different resolutions but this seems very inefficient im wondering if there is a different way?

I don't know if this is really possible, the program can not use a mouse or anything that requires the use of the tab key (this would be considered a use of the mouse), is there a way to still add input into textboxes and hit buttons, kinda like the letter "q" takes the place of the tab button and letter "W" takes the place of the enter button, or this can't be done?

I have run into a brick wall here with trying to figure this out what I have is a button that when clicked on opens up the windows control panel. and then options can be set and you then close the control panel.
then there is two radio buttons one says enabled and one says disabled what they do is check the registry after the button has been clicked on and depending on if the registry is set for 0 or 2 0 for disabled 2 for enabled...
I've tried various ways but I cannot get the radio buttons to check properly
I made a form with only 1 Button. I want that when i click that button, 2 more buttons should be appeared. Example: Button1 is clicked. Button2 and Button3 are displayed. I have named Button1 as Scan. When i click on Scan, the Button2(Pause) and Button3(Stop) should be displayed. When it is scanning, i have placed the progress bar with the timer. When the progress bar finishes loading, Button2(Pause) and Button3(Stop) should be hidden again.
