View 1 RepliesI'm loading HTML into the web browser control, and adding a bit of javascript that hightlights a section of html when the user clicks on the area, by changing the classname. If you know the FireBug addin for Firefox, it's very similar to that. But what I need to do after this, is take the HTML source, and find where they clicked. But when I get the DocumentText of the webbrowser control, it's the original source. Not the source with the added class name.Is there a way to get the source code with the javascript generated html?
View 1 RepliesFor my webbrowser application I would like to have a separate form to display online pdf files.Does anyone know how I would check to see if a clicked page link points to a pdf file and if so open form3 and load the file into the pdf reader component (pdfread) without causing the webbrowser to navigate to the link, this always seems to open the pdf file in a new instance of internet explorer.
I realise that to load the file into the pdf reader the code would be
pdfread.loadfile(whatever file)Hope I've explained this properly.
Im trying to open a link in my default webbrowser (firefox) , ive coded it link this but doesnt seem to be working.[code]

I'm trying to develop a new feature for our vb.net order entry system. At the moment I provide an assisted paypal login which loops through transactions and copies the transactions. My program then looks at this data and copies it into text boxes. The operator then approves and saves the record.
EDIT: I need to see the transaction in PayPal.So my code uses IHTMLFormElement and loops round form elements and adds values. However I only really use this to log in to paypal. See my code...
Dim theObject As Object = Nothing
theObject = "https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run"
WebBrowPayPal.AxWebBrowser1.Navigate2(theObject)
[code]....
Which is the history page, which allows you to search on the paypal transaction id.Unfortunately you need to click on 'find a transaction' which then uses some javascript to shows the post fields. So the problem is that the fields I need to use are hidden.
How can I click on this javascript link in code ?

View 3 RepliesThe issue at hand is this. I want VB.Net code to be able to talk with Javascript code, specifically, passing variable values back and forth.A web page contains several DIV elements that actually can open and close kinda like a dropdownlist in it's functionality (there are 8 of these). Initially, when the page loads, these DIV's are closed. However, when a user opens a DIV or multiple DIV's, their are various textbox controls they can make changes to. When any changes are made, they click the submit button to save the changes. Then, when the page reloads, I want the program to remember which DIVs were open so after the page finishes loading, those DIVs that had changes made to them will be opened instead of closed. What would be the best way to handle this. Should it be done all in the code-behind file or javascript alone or both?

I want to have my program do it programmatically.

I'm looking for a way to run Javascript in an instance of WebBrowser. Ideally I'd like to include a file using [Code] Problem is, the only way I'm seeing to run JS in the browser so far is by navigating the browser to a javascript) url, and I'd like to avoid that. There must be a way to interact with the DOM and add the code that I want to run in there. Right?
View 5 Repliesneed it to go to a website, lets say this one.Then I need it to wait 1 second (wich is 1000ms) and then execute thisJavaScript Javascript:alert("Hello!");So the result will be:Open google and then send this popup.
View 6 RepliesI'm making a Windows Forms Application and in it I've placed a WebBrowser. When I try going to my homepage though, it says that JavaScript is not enabled. My question is, is it possible to import JavaScript? If so, how can I go about doing so?
View 2 RepliesI have the following code which I want to run when the page first loads and then again when an update panel (asp.net) is run. Therefore I need to use function pageLoad() rather than document.ready.
function pageLoad() {
$(".zoomImage").each( function() {
$("<img src='"+$(this).attr("src").replace("-thumb.jpg",".jpg")+"' />").appendTo(".howitworksText > div");
});
};
Problem is I can only get this working with document.ready - so therefore not when the updatepanel is run.
