Why does this function not move the mouse to X100, Y200 and then doubble click?Has it something to do with user32.dll/user64.dll?
I have a calculate function that adds twenty text boxes together a+b, etc... 20 +20, B changes value when a selection in combobx is changed, how can i make the calculate funtion work up selection change in combobox ? You would think the selection change or index change , but that doesnt work because the tetbox doesnt actually get the new value till after the combo selection is made, so you actually have to go and make the selection twice I know i can put the code in the textbox value change , but i dont want to do that for 20 text boxes and i am assuming there must be a BETTER way?

I have a listbox that when you click on the item it displays a picture in a picture box and a message in a label. It works fine when an item is manually selected, but I want forward and back buttons that will do this. It works once but it doesn't highlight the new item in the listbox, so it gets stuck. I can't use a loop either.

I have this simple function (below) that randomizes number between 1 to 10. This function works well, except when Random() returns 5, which means intLot=5, randomizeAgain = true, and then the same function RandomizeNo will be called to randomize again. (refer the code below)
Even the new value of intLot equals other than 5 next time, say 4, the funtion returns 0.

I'm making a game and I want to select a picturebox while the program is running. Then I want to make it move with I think the mouse click event. How do I go about doing this?

View 1 RepliesIve created a program for work which is very plain and simple, a problem i have been having with it is that the OK button. the OK button deletes a key from registry and copies a pdf to the desktop and also creates a .txt file in a folder and as well closes the program. This seems to work on the machine that i have created it on and also from a Flash drive but when i have the folder and program on another PC every button works apart from the OK button.

When we left click a grid cell, or list item, it highlights. Left click outside it and the selection jumps to the new place.
I can RIGHT click anywhere in the grid without disturbing an existing highlight, but I want it to work more like windows explorer would in terms of file selection..
i.e. if I right click inside the range, the range stays, if I right click outside the range, the range moves to a new single cell that I just right flicked.
Try it now on this page. Select some text, right click on the selection and it stays. Right click outside the selection and it goes. In datagrid (for example), the selection can only be modified with a left click.
How can we change this so the selection behaviour of a datagrid/list is more like this text pane?
On a related note. If I left click in a textbox I can drag a selection out. If i wanted to right click and drag the selection out, would it be the same process? (It's for a custom string manipulation picker control..)
Pressing a Hotkey, I want to click the button of another application (a game table), knowing it x and y coordinates, without to move on the screen then mouse pointer, because this generate an annoyng fluttering.atm I use mouse_event, that works fine, but with the fluttering..In you opinion is this job is possible with a direct Api? I tried to hide the mouse with ShowCursor(False), but it works only over my forms, not over the screen...

I am working with a datagridview and checkboxes. Ok, I have the following code which runs without any errors but doesnt give the required results.
1) My problem is that, when I uncheck the checkbox in Cell 2, I want Cell 9 and Cell 6 to be empty.
2) When I uncheck the checkbox in Cell 2 and click any other Cell in the datagridview and check again checkbox in Cell 2 - it DELETES the data in Cell 9 & 6.
Now, when I check again the checkbox in Cell 2, Data is not populated in Cell 9 & 6 regardless how many times I try....
