VS 2008 Strange Cmbbox
May 29, 2009I got kind a mystery situation. There's not a lot of code, only few lines but the point is that it only works partially (it saves but does not load).
I tested it with another cmbbox1, which makes it work on seperate cmbboxes but not on either one or onother on their owns.[code..]
I got other cmbBoxes with titles on them loaded from the DB and they work fully, only this one doesn't.what should I look at?

Feb 22, 2010I have 16 comboboxes with a naming convention of:

c3d2
c4d2

These will all contain the same items and I need to add them at runtime. I know how to loop through the controls, but not sure how to make sure I'm only editing the correct comboboxes. (I will have to do this for 2 more sets of comboboxes with similar naming conventions as well)

There are over 45K lines, so speed is important.I need to load one of the fields into a dropdown box and have another field (label) display the text of another field in the related line.I could import the file to an access db if needed, but would rather not as i also want the txt file to update from a link on a regular bases. Apr 2, 2009Perhaps I am using the wrong Keywords when I am searching..... I want to use a Masked TextBox for a Money entry point on my Form. The Mask is $000.00, the problem I have is if the user wants to enter a value $9.99 (999), he gets $999.00. I have tried the TextAlign Right, that just moves the text to the right side. The RightToLeft just means that it the entry then looks like __$999 How can I make it Fill from Right to Left? Or is there a bertter control to use? I like the masked text box idea because I can eliminate the literals for calculations that I will be doing.

Sep 12, 2009I know how to do what is in the subject already, but I want to do it a different way than what is stated in the subject. What I want to do is be able to create multiple items with different names and then load the names into a listbox. When I select the item in the listbox with the name, such as Item1, it will put the text from the control named Item1 into a textbox.
I am clueless as to how I could accomplish this. What I am doing is adding Items to a menustrip's dropdown Item, then adding items to the dropdown items. So I would have the item collection such as:
One
Two
Three
So I could choose the item in the listbox with the text "Three" and I could load several properties of the item Three. Such as Three.text, Three.Tag, and Three.Name. And I could also edit these. And then when Three is chosen in the listbox, I could add sub items to it.
So it would look like this in my perspective(Although the code would not work)
