VS 2008 Error Could Not Find Type 'Word_Board.myRichTextBoxEx'

I got an "To prevent possible data loss before loading the designer, the following errors must be resolved" error, that i don't know how to fix.

Suddenly I got error "Could not find type 'myControl'. Please make sure that the assembly that contains thi stype is referenced.It worked fine couple days ago. I do not remember I have changed anthing since then. I use vb.net 2008.
A co-worker checked a very simple Visual Basic Visual Studio 2010 application into our version control system. When I checked it out and tried to build it I got the weird error below, which I am guessing has something to do with which .Net Framework the build is targetted towards and also which Framework I have installed.

I just tried to run a project of mine that has a wpf control in it and i get the error:Exception of type 'System.ExecutionEngineException' was thrown.The error automatically closes after about 3 seconds When I create a new WPF project visual studio closes down - no error messages, also just closes with no errors if I create a form application and add a WPF control to it. Also compiled applications just bring up the "xxx has stoped working" error - even apps that are not mine such as Microsoft Pivot that use WPF?

I now have SQL Parameters set up and I'm using them to save/delete/add my data. I'm using a date/time picker control and sending the db value to it. I know that the value is null, but I don't understand why the Picker can't be blank. Is there a way to let it be blank? Or should I set up a way to check for nulls and assign today's date or something just in case?

I have this code working. It sets the Visible property of controlToSecure to False. [Code] However I would like to get rid of hardcoding types of properties. In this case i'm hardcoding Boolean. Instead I would like to define the property type dynamically. I tried it like below but I get an error on line 2 "Type property Type is not defined". I've been getting this error when pulling data from a recordset. It is coming from a null entry and as a newbie to VB2008 I'm not sure how to get around this.

I have one user that is having a problem with my application, the error report shows an event type of clr203r and an index out of range exception. From what I've read this seems to have "something" to do with arrays or lists. (What that something is, so far, is beyond me or anything I've researched). I do have one array in my program -- myarray(13) as byte and I do have the syntax right as far as noting 20 elements in it. in my other bits of code.
I'm reading those bytes in the serial port, deciphering them and performing some actions. (to be vague). But just with what I've said, can anyone point me to a possible problem? Is the index out of range exception ALWAYS concerned with just arrays or lists? Or could it be something else?
