I need to press a button on a web page that is not located within a form, so how do I press a button according to its html element ID?Here is the HTML for the button by the way.:
<input id="i0011" class="css0088" type="submit" value=" Sign in " name="SI"/>
In my program i have a log in screen, what i want to be able to do is to be able to load the next page on the press of the "Enter" key as well as a button.
Basically, I have developed one form which is generic and display different views. On that form I have used Close button. Alphabet E is short-cut for closing the form (i.e. mnemonic functionality).During execution of the form, when I press "E" on that form, my form closes automatically. As per my understanding mnemonic works with Alt control only. I am not sure if I am missing any properties that should be set so that this problem is resolved.
How do I display the loginID after I entered the username and password before the library form is shown? Dim login = Me.LoginTableAdapter1.UserPasswordString(txtUsername.Text, txtPassword.Text) If login Is Nothing Then MsgBox("Incorrect User/Password") Else MsgBox("Welcome, you are now logged in") [Code] .....

Private Sub Logout() Try SendRequest("http:url....)[code]....
Everytime I login, It seems to run the logout function also. It DOES NOT do the SendRequest, but it does the me.client.dispose() which logs you out of chat. Is there a way where i can make this function only work when a button is pressed or the form is closing. In the form closing and btnLogout code I have Logout(), but I only want it to run that function when you close the form or you press the logout button, not when you log in. Is there anyway?

I have an xbox 360 guitar hero x-plorer controller and I was wondering if anyone here knows how to handle the event of a gamepad button press in the xna framework.
I have a 'DataGrid' usercontrol on my simple little form and I press a button that opens a text file and populates the DataGrid like so,
A B C 1 2 3 3 4 4 3 1 3
Where A, B, and C are my column headers.
I also have a 'ListBox' on the form. What I would like to do is, allow the user to select one, two, or three rows (or all) in the datagrid, and press a button that will move the data from selected rows into my listbox (each row its own string in the list box).
I can populate the datagrib easy enough, but don't know how to access the cell data individually?
I'm building a windows application to process the editable pdf template, using iTextSharp. The pdf template has button fields, on click of which additional sections are inserted into the pdf file. Now, I have to invoke the pdf button press event programmatically through my vb.net code to insert the additional sections into the pdf. How can I get the button fields and how can I invoke the button press event programmatically.
I need my application to go to a website, press a button on the website to get data, and then get the data that it shows all without the user seeing the webbrowser control. I'm doing this for a little project. The user could normally just go to the site and press the button themselves, but that would take to long. So how do you programmatically do this?

Is there is any option to send a message to a window to "press" on the maximize button? I thought using the sendmessage API but I don't really know how, I alreday got the window handle, the problem is how to send the message?
I have an app that I'm using Form2 to display informaitonal messages without having the user to press the OK button. I DIM form2 as a new form as a global and then add a lable to it on the fly and then control it's appearance with a timer. This all works great providing the main form is being displayed however I can't make Form2 show up if the main form is minimized or hidden. I can get around this a bit by keeping the main form maximized but change it's Opacity to zero but once I do that I have no idea how to return the Opacity back to normal when I do want to see the form. Anyone have any ideas on how to make Form2 display if the main from is minimzed or how to control the Opacity of the main form so I can return things to normal? I was thinking that there might be something I could do with hovering over or clicking on the icon in the taskbar but I don't know what that event might be.
I have a full screen button, so that when it is clicked the windows media player control will go to full screen. This works fine, however I need a way to check that the video has started to play before the button can be pressed to make it full screen.

The follow code will format Visual Studio code for presentation in these forums. Start a new Windows Forms Application and replace the code on Form1 with the code posted here. The code should post as it is shown here. Press "F5". Copy some code from the IDE to the clipboard. Press the "Paste RTF" button on the form and then the "Copy HTML" button. Start a thread in the Sandbox forum and paste the code in the Body of the post.
This is an initial stab at a formatter, which I feel is needed. I can't decipher most posts containing code.

I have a DataGridView that is embedded in a TabPage of a TabControl and the TabControl is embedded in a SplitterPanel of a SplitContainer and the SplitContainer is embedded in a ToolStripContentPanel of a ToolStripContainer which is on a Form. I want to get the name of the form the DataGridView is on, how do I do this?
Note: Sometimes in my application the DataGridView will not be embedded in any control other than the Form. So I would need this code to work no matter what the DataGridView is embedded in. For example, if I send my DataGridView as an argument to a function how can I get the name of the form the DataGridView is located on?
