VS 2010 SQL Query 2 Tables - Getting Info Loaded In RTB

I have 2 tables. I'm getting info from table1 which is loaded in an rtb.

This works great, but I need to add extra info after "RB_REF:" and "KT_REF:" (e.g: RB_REF: 12345 / KT_REF:6789) Those values are located in another table. How do I change the code/query so it also get the necessarily records from that table? Obviously there is a column "kan_id" with same values. I can't merge the tables btw.

i am creating a booking system for my A2 project but i cant create tables or field in the database and enter information in them. I have created a ms access database in vb but after that im stuck. The database must be created in vb programatically as i get more marks for complex code.
I am trying to do is fill out a form with certain info, put the info into an array, and write it to a listbox using loops, arrays, and maybe a function if I need one. This is for VB2010 and here is what I have so far... I think there are ways to make it shorter but I cannot figure it out.... maybe just brain dead from all the coffee I have been drinking!
I have two data tables within my data set that are loaded onto my form on form_load using statements written in code (not the designer. When I change a value for the first table via a text box the change is made to the data set. But when I try the same for the second table, the change doesn't remain in the data set when I switch to a different company and come back. I query the second table using the primary key of the first table but no code is needed when I change the values for the first table so I don't understand why the same doesn't work for the second when I change a value via a data-bound text box....

I am having difficulty with a SQL query in my project.I have 3 tables.
T1: - Date - ID - Location_ID

From this I need the T1.Date and T3.Result based on Location in T2.So my I need a query to compare a known location, get the Location_ID. Then Use that Location_ID to get the Date and ID. Use the ID to get the Result from T3. (Value is a variable with the known Location)
This is what I have tried:

I'm using VB.Net express with an Access file, and I have the following tables:
table Formula id | name ------------------- 1 | formula 1[code]....
So each formula have one or more components.Which query will I use if I want all the formulas with for example Component A AND Component D (Result: formula 1, formula 2)? I try something with intersect, but it seems it doesn't work in VB...

I am trying to return a recordset that gives some summary information about each company. The fields in my returned recordset should look like the following.
There are actually about 10 different Certification tables but, with Certification A and B you should get the hang of it. When an employee starts a certifaction, a record is added to the that certification table.Below is a query I wrote that works (gets me the data I need), but I am unsure if it is the most efficient way. There will be quite a lot of data so performance is an issue.

But how to do that in LINQ or is there another option?
The problem was that the DataSet does not support Nullable-Types but generates an InvalidCastException if you query any NULL-Values on an integer-column. The modified LINQ-query from dahlbyk works with little modification. The DataSet generates a boolean-property for every column with AllowDbNull=True, in this case IsfiChargeNull.

I have the following SQL query to return all Customers who have no OrderLines with no Parts assigned - i.e. I only want the customers within which every order line of every order has no parts assigned - (in the actual problem I am dealing with a different domain but have translated to customers/orders to illustrate the problem)

This works but generates less than optimal SQL - it is doing a subquery for Count on each row of the customers query rather than using Group By and Having. The problem I had is that I have to push "jl" into the Group By "Key" so I can reference it from the Where clause, otherwise the compiler cannot see that variable or any of the other variables appearing before the Group By clause.With the filter as specified I get all customers where at least one order has lines with no parts rather than only customers with no parts in any order.
My approach is to setup three different queries and save to three different variables and then save the data in the three variables into the new table. I have no problem loading the contents of a text file into a richtextbox(rtb) with the below code. I can then edit and save the contents of the rtb to the file, and clear the rtb.
However, is the file still open? Does loading a text file into the rtb actually open that file? I am asking because I can't find any methods or techniques to close a file that has been loaded into a rtb. Is clearing the rtb the correct procedure?

I have two rich text boxes, and two buttons on my screen. The first button grabs HTML from a URL and then converts the HTML to XML which resides in rich text box 1.
The second button is to grab the XML from the rich text box1 and then parse it to grab all the input elements by their ID.
My issue is that my parser isn't doing anything. My guess is that I'm not quite getting the XML from the first rich text box.
What would be the best way to grab the XML from a rich text box load it into memory and then parse the XML to grab all the ID tags?

I have an application that saves details to then be viewed in a datagridview on another form. Clicking on an entry in the datagrid (I want to make this double-click, but haven't bothered to try yet) highlights the row, and loads the values to a new form, in read-only text boxes. Clicking Edit changes the read-only value of these text boxes and allows you to edit (obviously) the contents. I have another button, Save which I want to click to commit the changes to the loaded items in the datagrid.
