I've created a simple licensing system for a friend who has created visual basic programs which he sells at a few dollars each (they're speciality programs).The licensing system is coded in PHP (I'm a PHP coder), and the system requires the user to input their license key upon start up, if there is not already an activated key (which is created in a .txt doc)

Here is a quick example- I made a little program that gives you general information about your computer, when you click a button it sets the text box to specific information. One of the text boxes gives you the Version of your OS. I would like to know if there is a way to send the information in that text box back to me when someone clicks it and they are connected to the internet. FYI I would tell the person who clicks it before so that I am not stealing information, plus what is there to steal from a simple program I made.

on my form i have a button and five textboxes... when i click the button it takes me to a website. on this website is a list of five items. i want to take these five items and place them in the 5 textboxes. up to now what i have been doing is highlighting the first item in the list on the website, right clicking and using the copy feature, then going back to the vb form and pasting the first item in textbox1... then go back to the website and highlight item two... return to the form and paste in textbox2.. then the same procedure for the next three items
is there a way to highlight all five items from the website, right click, select copy and then paste the information into the 5 textboxes on the form... one in each of the textboxes provided without doing it one at a time
I am writing an app which gets information from a website. Basically I load the webpage into a webbrowser control and parse the document text for what I need.
My problem is: I have a German version of windows. The webpage returned has the German version of the webpage. I require the English version but there is no way of specifying the language in the URL, so it must be picking up the default language of my operating system. How can I override this, is there a property of the Webbrowser control which I can set?
I want to extract some information from a web site (Bloomberg). This side has a search textbox with a onKeyUp event that, as far as I can understand, uses AJAX to create a table. Is it possible to insert some text in the textbox and then get the table created with AJAX? Given the source code of the page with the tabled already AJAXed (If you understand what I want to say here), I can easily retrieve the table. I just need to get the source code with the table already on it.

We are having problems with sending back to back emails on one of our web sites. The site is built with .net framework 2.0.We can send the first email without any problems on every try. But to send a second email you need to wait about 20-30 minutes.the problem.One thing we tried was changing the smtp email server. We tried a third party smtp server but the same problem persisted. So I think the problem is not with the smtp server but with our .net code.

I have search on sms in the internet but the problem is that it is using C# as I am using the vb.net language. Even though some of the research that i came across is in vb.net but the application did not work.
In my research, the sending and receiving of sms application uses sms gateway, AT command. But I am not sure which one to use becoz I am doing this application for my project. Hope for any recommendation on which one to use either the sms gateway or AT command or any other device. My lecturer said that my project is most likely like the M2U Mozat. Not only that I am doing the sms but also the email. The email part is done by my partner but the problem is that he creates the email using the SMTP server. How can using a SMTP server to create sms? It is because the part that I am doing which is the sms and the email to combine together.

Although there are already a few resources online that address this rough topic, I still haven't found an answer that works for me.I desire to have full communication between my VB.net process and my C++ process. I work with cell phones. I use a few programs like CDMA Workshop, QPST, QXDM, and Many more to communicate with these devices and program them as I need for each cellular carrier. We call this flashing or provisioning.
I would like to create my own program that I can have it send the commands and write to the device what I need to write.
Obviously I know exactly what I need to write to it but I have no idea what commands to use other than using the programs that already have those commands for me.
So for example when I click READ for the NAM on the program, the program automatically reads the name for me. I just want to know how do I read what commands are being sent. Is there a way to listen to the ports?
I was trying to develop a video chat p2p system by sending bitmap of the picturebox where the webcam performs. I want to send and make the client just prompted without having the client to save the file by opening savefiledialog of the bitmap i was sending.

I tried researching a bit and found out that we can use MsComm control to do this but it is not available in Visual Basic express 2008 edition. Can we use serial port class to do this? My latest project requires both sending and receiving emails. Now i know how to send emails using a gmail account, but what im having incredible difficulty with, is accepting emails. What i want, is to have a program that both has the ability to send emails, and capture emails being sent to the logged in user, and place them in an inbox list. I was wondering if anyone knew how to receive emails with a program, even temporarily, so that when an email is sent to the user, my program knows about it, and can take the body from the email, and place it in say a textbox.

The server is a .bat file that turns into a command prompt, and I need to be able to send commands like "stop" or "op player" and then I also need to be able to see the output from the cmd in a textbox. I found a code that can start and read what the cmd says but I can't send any commands to it.
