VS 2010 Error Message : Argument Out Of Range Exception Unhandled

Working with an If statement I have tried the following
If -0.6 > (LLum_Gline(8).X - LLum_Gline(12).X) > 0.6 Then
patient_frm.llum_gline = 2
MsgBox("Measurement is Abnormal")
End If
I am getting an error message that says Argument out of range exception unhandled. I have double checked and verified that LLum_Gline(8).X and LLum_Gline(12).X are in fact valid.Is my problem simply in how i am phrasing the If statement. Is there a way for me to phrase what im doing without writing multiple if statements?

So i want to grab information from a certain column in a database, however the user pics the column by the column name so it is a variable in the code

The user chooses the "night" then the program grabs the value from the column with that variable name, except i think i hav e the wrong syntax because i get the error "Index out of range exception was unhandled" - this pops up on the line
current_count += myDataReader.Item(Night).ToString and is pointing at the word Night.By the way when I say column the technical term maybe field, however it is a column in the database entries...

I have problem in calling DLL file in VB.Net that I had Created it in C++... it give me this error message: "An unhandled exception of type 'System.EntryPointNotFoundException' occurred in test_dll_1.exe. Additional information: Unable to find an entry point named 'add_1' in DLL 't1.dll'."

I was scripting a very basic process manager, with a ListView component, and it was working fine for many days, up until now.Here is the code for getting processes:

I'm having the following error message with a date value in production server. "The conversion of a char data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range datetime value" In the development server the problem never happened. Both production and development servers have the same OS (Windows Server 2003), updates and settings including the regional settings options. The regional options is set to Arabic (Saudi Arabia) and the date is customized to use (English) gorgerin calendar. The non-Unicode is set to Arabic (Saudi Arabia).
My solution contains an ASP.NET web application and a class library. In my class library project I'm trying to get a list of rows from the database (SQL 2005) and I'm using a date rang [Code] Is there a way that I can use to manipulate dates regardless of the regional options settings?

The business intent is that user enters the keyword 'abc' and clicks search button . We have defined different keywords in a xls which has 1600 rows and 16 columns . so when finding abc in any of the cells ,it has to return the value of a column#4 where the name is specified !
