When The Mouse Cursors Hovers Over An Item In The First Column, All The Subitems Of That Line Disappear?

I have little Problem with my ListView. When the mouse cursors hovers over an item in the first column, all the subitems of that line dissapear. If I click in it, they eppear agein. Also, they appear, if I hover the mouse over each of them.This my code for DrawSubItem-Event. I don't have implemented a DrawItem-Event because that made it even worse.

I'm creating a type of drawing program. The user can draw a line, much like in word or paint, etc. But once the line is drawn (to a picturebox or bitmap in memory), I want the user to be able to click on the line and drag it around (translate it).
If I know the coordinates of the endpoints of the line, as well as the pen width it was drawn with, how can I tell if a certain coordinate (mouse location) is contained by the line?
My first thought was to take a mathematical approach, like get an equation for a line, and check to see if the coordinate belonged to it. But for a higher pen width, the line is thicker, and thus contains more points.
How can I tell what coordinates are part of the line? Is there some sort of intersect function in the gdi that takes a line?

I have created a menu using a treeview to launch forms when the user clicks on a node. To complete the look-and-feel, I have set up the nodes to look like hyperlinks. I'd like to have the cursor change to a hand (like the one you see when you hover over a link) when the user hovers over a node, however so far I've only been able to have the cursor change on hovering inside the treeview, as opposed to over a node. As far as I can tell, a TreeNode doesn't have events such as MouseEnter, so I can't have them handle the events themselves.
I am attempting to use this function to loop through the nodes and check the Bounds property of the TreeNode against the Point property of the cursor, but so far the If block always evaluates to false, meaning that the cursor never changes.[code]...

My project is working well, without any problems and I just need to add another feature, if it is possible.I'm looking for a way to be able to have a Text Balloon (I'm not sure if this is the correct description or not) that will appear when the mouse curser hovers over an object in order to display text, letting the user know exactly what this particular object does.For instance, the text balloon would say: "Download Link" when the mouse hovers over a picture or maybe "Opens Software Window".In one case it does "Open" a new window when clicked on, but I need a balloon pop-up text to say that it will open a new window.

This is the first time I have used a list view control since vb 6, and I have some basic questions.
1) How do I get the listview to show each item in a seperate row?
2) How do I add sub items to the listview?

I have 1 table which has columns which include "parent" which says who the parent is if there is a parent, and "name" which has the name of the item. so for example

or something to that affect. the reason being that the user can do the autocomplete by typing a letter or a few letters, it will go to the parent and then they can use the enter key to move down 6 or so down at a time( if possible) or arrow to move 1 at a time down.
Is this possible in DGV or should I go use something else? I have seen this used in a program before but I do not know how it was implemented.

I am trying to programmatically select all items, including subitems, in a listview and can't seem to get the result I am looking for. I have FullRowSelect = True set and when I click on the items, all is fine. However, if I use the following code, only the ListViewItem is selected and not the item's subitems. Is there a way to achieve this?

I have a MainForm which contain SecondaryForm as a control of the MainForm.SecondaryForm contains DataGridView which loads data from sql server and I add a collumn named SUM that SUMs all the values of the same row. This is provided within the LOAD event of the SecondaryForm.When SecondaryForm.Load events finishes, the program goes back to MainForm right after the line "SecondaryForm.Show" and here the values of the column SUM disappear.When i write those values runtime, they never disappear.

I have a DataSet that contains 1 DataTable, and the DataTable contains only 1 row of data. I want to loop through all columns in that row and say:
Column name = column value
so for example if the column name is FAVORITE_FOOD and the value is pizza, I should display FAVORITE_FOOD = pizza I can get the column name from column.ColumnName and the value from Rows(0).Item(0), but for the life of me I can't put it all together in a simple loop.

Currently I have a listbox on a VB 2010 project and I have hooked a ContextMenuStrip to it. Everything works from here but what I want it to do is select the item underneath the mouse when i right click. This would make it so i wouldn't have to left click the item then right click to get to the menu.

I have a vb net program that shows a datagridview which pulls data from a mySQL database. When the user clicks on a row (I am checking for a 'cellclick' event), a text box is filled with data from a hidden column in the datagridview. This works fine and runs without error, BUT...When I use the cursor keys to move the selection up or down, the row highlight changes, but doesn't update the text box. I realise that this is because I am looking for a 'cellclick' event, but I don't know how to look for cursor keys as well.
Please could someone tell me what event I should be looking for to capture input via both mouse click and cursor. I have changed the program so it updates the second dgv on 'selectionchanged' but this crashes at run time with an InvalidCastException.Alternatively, is it possible to stop the user using the cursor keys?

I create a dynamic menustrip based on DB. so on the clickeditem event of menustrip I got on the index of itemclicked so when I move the mouse from the item dropped to another in the menustrip without click on it the item dropped down,that it truly but when I click on item from toolstrip it not open to me the form. I created an add-in that creates a custom toolbar for MS Project. This appears as "Add-In" on a tab after "File" and under the Add-In tab is a custom toolbar.The toolbar that has 9 items, each runs a specific macro. This works great using the mouse.The problem now is that I must make it usable to a blind person who cannot use a mouse. How do I position to the first menu item (without mouse) when opened and use the TabKey to move thru the 9 items and allow selection by hitting Enter.
