Adding A Tab Panel To A Child Window?

So I'm adding a tab panel to a child window. A lot of our controls here are user defined but this looks like an ExtJS issue. When I add a tab panel, and then try and add controls and stuff to that panel, everything is cut off on that panel.
Here is the code I am using:

I can't even see the dropdown at all unless I scroll on the tiny little scroll bar it creates. It gives like a quarter inch on the screen to see anything inside the tab panel. There is no size property on the tab panel from what I can see.

As Autodesk is going to discontinue VBA for their Inventor product in the near future I have been looking at other ways to run VB.NET in Inventor. To date it doesn't look like VSTA will be the replacement. Automation from an External VB.NET app is certainly possible, but leaves something to be desired for speed and integration. Compiled Add Ins are the Cadillac of choice but can be a royal pain to debug and develop. Autodesk now provides a lightweight VB.NET script interface called iLogic. It's main purpose is to allow extreme customization of Solid Modeling parts. The code actually resides inside the Part Model file.

I'm from denmark and hope I can explain my question for you. This is just a example: I have a panel, let's say panel1 and another panel on that panel (panel2) and so on until for example panel5 - on panel5 I have a button (button1). Now I would like to change button1's backcolor property through code how do I then get access to button1, now it's a child-control on panel5 that is a child control on panel4 etc. ??

I have a 3rd party program that puts up a pop up box and asks the user for input. In Spy++ the original program (I'll refer to this as Window A from now on) is a top level window, and the popup (Window B) is also a parent window. I am trying to find the handle of the child window for the Yes button in the User Account Control window so i can click it. This window has a structure with a few child windows with the same name.

There are multiple CtrNotifySink with its own Button child window or other child windows. How do i search thru the different CtrNotifySink window to find the one that contain the Yes button so i can send a click to it? I do need to find it before i can send a click, right? because i try just sending it to the main window with sendmessage and nothing happen.I even try sending it directly to the handle found by spy++ of the yes button with bm click but nothing happen?

I am looking to close the application when I click a cancel button in a login page, but I don't want to do it in such a way that Window 2 closes itself, but by sending some notification to Main Window, and Main Window closes the application. Here's the code that I have so far:

I have a regular form that I have a SplitContainer on and I would like to launch an external program (not mine) in Panel2, maximize it to fill the whole panel, and hide it's toolbar if possible. The program I am launching is a monitoring program of network activity. To be even more detailed, it is a puTTy window that opens a telnet connection to a server. I need to launch this putty window in Panel2, and then maximize it so that it cannot be resized/dragged.

I'm a bit confounded about how to proceed. I'm creating some kind of gameboard for a friend of mine. I have a splitpanel and the game grid will appear in the 1st panel. I put a panel with a 100x100 square in tile background format. called it gridpanel.i want that when I double click on gridpanel, a semi-transparant picture box frame (called Target) appears on your grid-square. I have created a (kind of) 'Desktop' Form for the main basis of my program. Basically it is made up of 3 panel controls.
1. Holds all buttons which load the different forms (Like the windows start menu when expanded). name: StartMenuPanel
2. Holds Information on log in deatails. name: LogCheckPanel (very thin panel at top of screen)
3. Main panel which takes up the majority of the screen (where I want the forms to load). name: MainPanel
My aim is: When a button is clicked from the 'StartMenuPanel' the form will load with-in the 'MainPanel'.
I tried changing the start position to 'centre parent', but the panels are in the way so some of the childform is overlayed by the panels.

When I run this I get the following error: 'Top-level control cannot be added to a control'.

Like the title says, panel/window, I'm not sure what controls are used to get the effect of collapsible windows, so I don't know what to search for. I'm trying to add 2 windows to my main form, one will have a treeview on the left and the other I would like to have similar to the VS collapsible panel/window (not sure if they're windows or panels or whatever) that will display detailed information about an item selected from a Listview on the main form. I don't need the fancy "Autohide" or other features, just a simple docked area that I can collapse/show whenever needed.

(vbnet 2008, windows forms)I have a main form (not MDI) with a menu that will open another form as a window on top (I have already set the TopMost property to true). My problem is that it will set this window on top of everything that I open (any program). How can I set this window to be on top of just the main form? I am trying to add controls to a Panel in a loop, but for some reason they are being added from the bottom up instead of top down.In a little test program I am running this

And this is the result I get ... the controls are added starting at the bottom. I need them to start at the top of the panel, with each new control being added under the previous one. If I remove the Dock statement, then the controls just get added on top of each other.

Trying to replicate the docking controls in Visual Studio 2008. My application replays the RADAR environment for the FAA and I want the ability for dual monitor users to drag the control panels to the other monotor to leave the main canvas clear. This functionality is similar to the way the different panels in VS can be dragged outside of the main window.

I am working on a project for a handheld in Visual Studio 2008 where I need to add a group of labels to a panel that correspond to a record on the database. The record is a "Pass/Fail" Record. So, if the record is a "Fail", the failed items will be added below the main group of labels; therefore, many child groups of labels will be added below the main group, which is theoretically the header record. I am using a second panel to add the failed items. My issue is how to dynamically add, name, and position the failed item labels and panels. Below, I have included a sample of what I am trying to accomplish.

I have a parent panel with child panels that contain images. I am looping through the panels to save the images in the order the panels appear in the parent panel. [code] I can also re-arrange the panels via mouse. The problem is that when they are rearranged, they do not retain their order when saved.. They simply are saved in the order they were added to the parent panel.So my question is, does the for loop use the index set when adding the panel? If so, how can I manipulate the index in runtime while arranging the panels via mouse.

I'm trying to open a tool window as a child and although I can set the width to something like 50px wide in the ide, when it opens up its 125px wide. What is there to opening a widow with out much width am I missing.I have turned off the maximize and minimize gadgets and even the whole drag bar. When they open up when I run they are fat again. Looking for something like the tool window in paint.net.
