Asp.net - ListView Controls Display Wrong Data The 3rd Time?

I have a ListView that populates and displays a user's data (via a profile system in VWD 2008) during Page_Load and also when I go from the EditItemTemplate to the ItemTemplate. When I go to the edit screen again, my DropDownList and RadioButtonList controls display the first items in the corresponding tables instead of the correct profile values.
I don't understand why the controls populate correctly the first and second times but not on the third time (that's right, the third time is NOT a charm).how to solve this problem?
I've got a DataGridview I want to remove columns from as it greatly increases performance when I format the DGV. The first time I remove columns in a loop (using the removeat) property, everythings fine. But when I try to remove more columns in another loop, it appears to remove the wrong columns and displays the wrong data. In other words, it displays the wrong data and headers; and the columns it does show has headers and cells that don't match.
I think the problem is in query, and I can't figure it out. I have two queries..
First is this: "SELECT * FROM `tbl_trans` WHERE `t_bk_duedate` >= '" & DateValue(Now) & "'" It must only show the "BOOK2", but unfortunately, it displays all the records.
The second query is: "SELECT * FROM `tbl_trans` WHERE `t_bk_duedate` < '" & DateValue(Now) & "'" It must display the "BOOK1" but displays nothing at all.
I wonder how we keep records alive in listview..i m entering data into listview from textboxes...but when i stop and again run the program i get new listview...the record i added from textboxes are not there..i want to display the records everytime i run the program.[code]...
I am converting a VBA program to VB. I need to create controls at runtime as I don't want the user to be limited to the amount of information that they can input. I am converting this statement in vba:

What am I missing here? This seems to be the way it is done in all of the examples that I have found on this site.
I am building an inventory program. One of my forms shows the store info. It will also have a section that shows all the equipment we keep track of at that store. I am currently trying to set it up by using tab controls with textboxes for each item. The code seems ugly and sloppy and I just don't like the interface. I am looking for ideas on a better way to do this. I know I could use a datagridview, but there is lots of data and I don't think there would be enough room for it.

I am using vb express and want to display graphs for the data displayed in listview through queries. For example I display data in Listview with the following query:

i have a small ListView in my form. The have only 2 Columns (Datum) and (Anzahl). When i fill the ListView the first Column is not filled, only the second Column (Anzahl) is filled with "Datum". How can i get the "Datum" in the Datum-Column?

are there any ways that i can extract my data from database and display it into my listbox in real-time? which means that whatever is updated in my database must immediately be inserted into the listbox without the need of refreshing or pressing any buttons. Immediate display.
I have a ListView w/filename, data, time and size fields. I've copied the code from this article [URL] to use in my solution. Problem is, when I click a column header the first time, it sorts, but when I click the same header a second time, to sort in reverse, the column stays in the same order as it was just sorted in.
I am making one program, it goes like: I put some data in textbox and when I press the button it goes to listview this part is no problem, but I don't know how to sum data what is entered in listview column nr 4 when I press some button and display the result in one other textbox or label.
The code generator creates code with references to a component I am using, before it's dependent components (datasets) are initalized. Although I can correct this by editing the form.designer.vb file, everytime I make a change on the form the code is re-generated in the wrong order. Where does VS2008 store information about the order of the components for code generation.

I'm trying to get the last time the directory was updated (written to), and if it's later than the date i have stored i want to process that directory for new/changed information.The problem I'm having is that the Directory.GetLastWriteTime(path) seems to only get updated with creating and deletion of files.when a user just updates an existing file (for example a text document) the GetLastWriteTime remains the same for the directory even though the modified time of the text file has changed.
I don't want to itterate through the files in the directory, is there any reason the directory last write time does not get updated when modifying an existing file?
I've got a couple of these NumericUpDown controls I put on a form. Without describing too much about the form I basically want to update some variables each time one of these NumUD controls changes value. So for each NumUD I have a call to a Recalculate subroutine within their "changedValue" event.
There are actually two problems. First, if I initialize the "Value" property to something other than zero in VB2010 at DESIGN TIME it won't even open the form when I hit RUN. It gives me a "No Source Available. No symbols loaded for any call stack frame" error. The error box says "InvalidOperationException" was not handled. So if I try to set the initial value of the Value property to anything but zero of either I get this error.
I've been building controls for many years professionally and personally, but even back in VB6 days I just could not work this out. After all this time I remembered about it again.If I create a usercontrol/containercontrol and add one or more controls to the controls surface, I just cannot figure out how to access the controls at design time.

i have a system that will search a data and print it, the problem is that everytime a search the data and shows its result when i try to view it using crystal report it shows a wrong data... the crystal report shows the very last entry that the user added and ignored the previous data.

I am trying to create what I am sure is a simple program to add hours to convert UTC time. I want to type in a UTC time and have it convert for every state in Australia. [Code] Now that works fine however when the conversion goes past "midnight" it then shows the date and time. I have tried about 50 different things but cannot get it to remove the date when the converted time passes midnight. [Code] The string was not recognized as a valid DateTime. There is an unknown word starting at index 18.

I want to start the time in one user only because when i add a user in my listview and click the start button both of them start their time. how can only start one user only? and when i select the other user and start their time the first one that i start is continues deducting a time.

The problem is that for some columns it sets the data type to be Double even though the spreadsheet column format is "Text" and teh column contains non-numeric data. Then when it gets to that cell it returns DBNull instead of the text value.
