BindingNavigator Connected To BindingSource That Connects To An Access Database And SQL Insert

I have a windows app that has a bindingNavigator connected to BindingSource that connects to an Access database. I am manually adding a record to the underlying database using an OLEDBConnection/command (cloning the current record). The insert into the database works fine, what I am not sure on how to do is force the bindingNavigatgor to refresh and read the new record and refelect it in the record count/next/previous buttons.Jack

I got a DATASource connected, changed the table to details and draged it on to my form, but then it shows me the bindingnavigator at to of my form.
q1. how do i make it so every time this form opens it is like add new?
q2. how do make my own save button (don't want the binding navigator at top)
q3. in my form all my collums aper as textboxes how can i change it so there is a drop down menue that has forexaple 3 pre defined items that the user has to select on of.

I'm writing an asp.net page with a simple registration form that connects to my access database and inserts the values in the table. So I have my database, my registration page, everything looks fine in my code, but there's a syntax error I can't seem to figure out. When I go on my webpage and click submit, it says : Syntax error in INSERT INTO instruction.

I have one datagridview control, a BindingNavigation and a Binding control on my form. I populate the datagridview control through the code. Moreover, the datasource properties of the DatagridView and the Binding controls are assigned a value through code (I didn't specify anyting in the properties window). The same for the bindingsource property of the BindingNavigation control (I assign a value trhough code). My code is the following:

This code brings and shows the right results in the datagridview control, but the navigator control is inactive. I know that I have to bind the controls(DataGridView + BindingNavigator) to the BindingSource control. Is this a problem that I tried to do this by coding?

my program has been finished a year ago and then I didn't use it. but today I need to use it for some reason. I find it cannot be update when pressing the save button on BindingNavigator bar, here is the message

I have created an auto emailer to distribute our work routes for my colleagues. Problem is I made it easy for the management team to update the list. List is ordered by Tech Number, First name, Last name, Email address.
I have coded this in VB.NET 2008 using Database sources and drag-n-drop the table on the form. I let VB do most of the coding of the connection and text boxes. (IE If (Tech_TextBox.Text <> "9999") Then)What I would like to do, instead of using a bogus tech number as an exit. I need an 'IF Then" or 'DO UNTIL' after last record.

I used the wizard to create a datagridview and then binded a grid to an access table.Data show up fine..But I can't dete records via the bindingnavigator.Hit the delete button then hit the save button ?Data does not get updated in the backend database.My properties are set to true for adding and deleting.

When I drag an item from my data sources area onto my form, VS automatically creates a tableadpater, bindingsource, and bindingnavigator for me. This is great. The name it picks "xxxxxtableadapter", "xxxxxbindingsource", and "xxxxxbindingnavigator", where "xxxxx" is the tablename, is in my opinion a bit wordy.

I am designing a Point Of Sale system to be used by sales representatives. The sales rep should be able to place an order of a specific product on behalf of the customer. I have defined my relationships between the tables, Product, Order and Customer. When i try to save my orders i get an error that says "you cannot add or change a record becuase a rerlated record is required in table Product"

When a vb project is connected to ms access(DB) whenever u make any changes in d db using addNew or insert or delete follwed by update command the changes are reflected in copy of original db in the debug folder of our project.in which updated values chnges with each run .. no changes are reflected in d original db.is dere any command to make dese changes permanent.

when i click the button, i get a error message saying "Syntax error in INSERT INTO statement". as far as i can tell, i have everything i need to insert a new row into the database, and i dont see why this problem is occuring.
item(0) is an autonumber key field, so that should make a new record by itself, and i have declared the input textboxes as the data() array

I have an app that connects to a sql database using the standard connection string.Now i want to do some work on this at home, where i have a vpn connection to work setup.It's quicker to work locally than it is to rdp into work and work from my desktop there.What do i need to append to the connection string to get it to connect to the server at work? i've tried appending the domain in front of the server name but that didn't work. is there something else i should do?

im in the middle of creating a little program that allows a user to search and if in admin mode can delete and add a new record to the database i have my search part working fine.i have made the query using the dataset.xsd query builder i used the select, from where query after making the query i have gone to my form and called it using Me. peopleTableAdapter. FillByPeople(systemDataSet.people, Me.peopleTextBox.Text, Me.peopleTextBox.Text, Me.ageText Box. I need to create a program that connects to a database and determines if what the user entered is in the database. Trying to do this in somewhat the same way that a translator might workchecking to find the word, and if found replace it with what is in the row beside it in the database)
