Can Record Configuration Of Mouse During Recording Process

Oct 17, 2009

i'm trying to make a "mouse recorder" program which will record mouse activity and then play it back using 2 timers.I'm comfortable recording and playing back mouse positions, but I'm having some trouble recording mouse clicks.I'm planning on using the "mouse_event" function to simulate the clicks during play back but I'm not really sure how I can record the configuration of the mouse during the recording process.

Record And Playback Mouse Movements

Jan 17, 2010

I am working on mouse recorder and I got it where it will record and playback the mouse movement by using 2 simple listbox and some codes. But now I am stuck on how to get it to record the clicks and also playback that as well. I was wondering if I could just use another list box to store the clicks in it? But I am sure I got to do something more extreme.

Is There A Way To Record Mouse Movements In Windows Instead Of Just The Form

Jan 15, 2009

I am trying to create an application that logs off a computer. I want it to check for mouse movement. If the mouse hasn't been moved in a certain amount of time then log off. I created an application for a form that if the mouse isn't moved in the form in 5 seconds the application closes. The reason I am trying to create this is because I work for the board of education and we have a problem with the teachers not logging off. The students get on there computers and mess stuff up. So my questions are:

1.) Is there a way to record mouse movements in windows instead of just the form? tutorials/info?

2.) Is there a way to execute a command like you would in a command prompt? For example if you type in shutdown -r it will restart the computer. tutorials/info?

3.) I do not want an interface for this just an icon in the task bar and for it to start on bootup. tutorials/info? When it reaches the time I want it to pop up with a form and say logging off in however many seconds and then logoff.

The resulting app is used in conjunction with another app. What I would like is to have the vb app do something when the mouse enters the form. As a quick test I created a form with a tablelayoutpanel (docked to fill the form) containing one button. I added the following code:

Retrieve Keys From DLL Configuration File Not From Current EXE Configuration File?

Feb 7, 2011

I have 3 components :

1.Manager : dll containing Iterface definition and other things

2.Implementation: dll containing Implementation of the Interface

3.Executable: (maybe this one could be a external application or another dll using the libraries)

I have particular methods (iside the interface dll file) that extract information of real Implementation from AppSettings keys in order to instance it using reflection. I use the Manager inside the Excecutable, but when I try to retrieve a especific key defined in "Manager.dll.config" (appSettings), the value returned is empty because the configuration file used is "Excecutable.exe.config" I need this configuration information in Manager config file because this Manager will be used from other programs and the configuration must be centralized into that config file to replicate the possible changes to every app calling this dll.How can I to specify that the ConfigurarionManager.AppSettings must extract values from manager.dll.config file?

.net 4.0 - ASP.NET 4.0 Custom Configuration Section: "An Error Occurred Creating The Configuration Section Handler"

May 2, 2012

I am creating a custom config section that will allow me to manage what ELMAH exceptions I want to ignore from my VB.NET/ASP.NET app. Here's my code. I made it easy to paste in a blank code file if anyone's up to the challenge of diagnosing the problem.

CODE:

When I execute this code:

CODE:

I get the error An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for IgnoredExceptionSection: Could not load file or assembly 'WEB' or one of its dependencies..

What boggles my mind is that this all works fine in my C# console test app after I convert the code from VB.NET using a web utility. However, when I paste the VB code from my web app into my VB.NET console test app, it doesn't work there, either, so it appears to be a C#/VB issue. What am I doing wrong here?

Recording Wav From Speakers?

Jun 11, 2009

i recently downloaded a demo game "Delta Force Xtreme 2 BETA". the game it's self, looks like vb3 does when compared to vb.net 2oo8.. one thing about it, on the startup screen, it plays a decent track of music..

i want to record that sound, in wav format, i guess, directly from my speakers. i googled all day, hoping to learn something about playing/recording sound, and i got nowhere.. so i finally decided to post here, after searching the forum for answers, again, without any luck..

i'm not looking for links to sites that the code is not tested before the link is posted.

just a form with 3 buttons. 1 to record, 2 to stop and save, and 3 to play. again, the sound should be recorded directly from the speakers.

Recording Data To A List?

Aug 26, 2010

Am new to the VB platform and have only been messing around with 2008 for a few months, off and on.Have built a rotational inertia based Dynamometer for personal use in my R/C hobby.Have written some code that allows me to read roller frequency, that is then figured to roller RPM,and eventually ,vehicle ground speed.

Now before anyone shoots me down,( I don't mean this to be sarcastic, but I have received negativity on other forums) I know that ,because of various interupts on my P.C.,that the windows timers aren't all that accurate, causing me to miss incoming signals that screw up my measurements, and the best thing is an external aquisition unit.Let me just say that I run my VB program parallel to an external frequency counter, and have at any given time a difference of max. 8 hz at higher revs. Also I use an external timer based counter that figures the ground speed ,and it also is within a half KmH.This is only a hobby for me and that's close enough.Someday I may build something that does the computing externally and gives it to VB,but for now.........So now to the good part

Here's my question: How can I write code that will let me record the RPM ,from TextBox2, at each timer interval, and have them listed?

I need this to calculate the RPM changes per interval in order to establish "angular acceleration" ,for further calculations.

In Addition,I need a way for my program to know when something changes or does'nt.If I start my programm and don't run the dyno ( no signals) then it will start saving a bunch of zero's that I don't need, and when I get to the end of the run,the RPM will top off(no change in signals)but keep saving. The best would be,start recording when the 1st signal is detected and stop recording when the signals stop changing, and tell me I can stop.
But I'm not that advanced.........yet.

The next problem is that I have no idea, depending on what vehicle I test, how many intervals will be recorded, as one may or may not take longer to reach max.RPM.

Heres what I have so far:

Public Class Form1
Dim product1 As Double
Dim product2 As Double
