I have a form with a tab control on it. I would like to be able to rotate backgrounds, from the code.I'd especially like to be able to change just one tab on the tab control. I know how to do this in the IDE, of course.)

I have set the text color as Black.The problem is that if the user sets the color as Black then the color code will be unreadable. How do I set the text color programmatically so that it becomes readable when the user selects any color?

What I want to do is, name the link label "Plain Layout". When the link label is clicked, remove or "hide" the background image and replace it with the background color of "control". After this action is performed, I need the text to change back to "Default Layout" and "show" the image.

what I am trying to accomplish worked with the code in the last thread I posted a while back. I still am using this code, however, I changed the window size to work better and gave it a nicer background for the title screen of my project. Now what I am working on at the moment is making a settings form that has 2 labels. One for "Default" Layout and one for "Plain" layout. When default is at start, the default label is disabled,and when plain layout is clicked, the button is disabled and default button is enabled.Basically, this is a toggle switch for default or plain where if one is enabled, the option for it is disabled and the other is enabled.My problem is that when I switch from Plain back to default, the background Image will not switch back from the plain background color of "control"Here is my code:

I have created a custom control that is included in a control library that is referenced by a VB Forms application.
When I modify the control, and have the application open in a VS window, VS usually asks me if I want to reload items that have changed.
However, a couple of times, it has not asked me this, and when I go to open the form that contains the modified control, I get an error window warning me that if I ignore the error message and continue, then I risk making VS unstable. I've learned to ignore this error message, continue, and immediately save the form to a new file.

What I want to be able to do is to allow the user to type text into the richtextbox control; then if they change the font style using the menu only for newly entered text to change font, and any previously typed text to stay in the previously selected font. I've seen some WPF examples and if it really comes to that, I'm more than willing to change the app from a WinForms app to a WPF app. I've made a WPF app before, so I'm familiar with it. But, I don't want to have to remake my entire project for this one form.
On that note, does anyone know if I can make a WPF form how I need it and just import it into a WinForm app? It doesn't seem possible, but it's better to ask than not. I'll look into this more.

I tried to make the same functionality with the C#.net and Also using VB.net. But the below mentioned code returns control name with an underscore as prefix. But I don't want underscore. Code is actually written in Class library. It works perfectly in C#.

let's say i finished my application.. it already has 3 images that when i click button1, form background image is red, button2, blue, button3, whatever color image u like.. ;o)
now the app is built as a .exe and i would like to add more images to be able to change the background image... is there a special folder that contains my app images, or are they embedded in my application?
or is there a way to update the exe with new images... this is a new field for me, so make it simple..
I am create a isMDIformcontainer=true form, Design time have backgroud color. But runtime no color. Can you change the backgroud of MDI parent form..?
