I have successfully connected FullCalendar v1.4.2 with sql server using asp.net webforms and vb.net. I want to update to v1.5.3, but the original integration code no longer works and I can't see how to fix it.Secondly, I would like help adding drag and drop features so that I update the database on drag/drop from asp.net, but I'm not sure where to start for that.

I am looking for something that will make it easy to schedule recurring appts (i.e. every monday, every other week on thursday at 9AM, every month,1st and 3rd tuesday, every year etc) with as many possible scenarios as possible.
I can automate most of the easy ones via a few screens, but inevitably my users come up with scenarios that require me to code and execute some custom scripts in SQL to make the entries, and I'd really like to offload this to the users.

I hate to ask this question on this forum, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding it on these online tutorials. Basically, I'm learning about SQL, VB.NET, and how to glue the two together, and I've learned about using SqlCommand.executeScalar() to get the first entry in a table. But that's all it's really good for, right? Or is there something more to the story here?
Basically, I'm wanting to ask about how to pull in a FULL table from a SQL database while using VB.NET, as well as how to pry substrings and stuff from it. Again I'm having to ask this on this forum because all these online tutorials seem to ignore the subject completely.

Its based around space invaders and works quite well. however because i have finished my college project almost 2 weeks ahead of the assignments release date, my tutor has asked me to tweak my project and make it better.So far i have added a full main menu to the game and a full splash screen. When I run this code from vb.net Emulator it works fine but when I run the same code from a Win Mobile 5 PDA, it doesnt work pc and pda both in same network via a wireless router and i can ping each other.

After some google-searching, i think my server is ready, but I don't know how I can connect my vb.net application on my client pc, to my SQL Server on my server. So I tried to connect using telnet, still couldn't, the reason was that I didn't had any NICKNAME because the server needs the user to have a nickname to connect to a server( I guess so. ) Here's my code, it just connects to server. View 3 RepliesI have to develop a small application that will connect to a Linux server (scp on port 22), upload a file, and then execute the file. The first thing that came to mind was to call WinSCP from my app, but the initial connection will always prompt to accept the hostkey. When calling WinSCP from the commandline you can press a key to copy the hostkey to the clipboard, and then you can use it with the -hostkey switch to connect. Any thoughts on how I might do this in VB? It would have to look like this:
Attempt to connect via WinSCP
Copy hostkey to clipboard when prompted
Attempt to connect again using hostkey
I'm just not sure about #2. I would have to send a keystroke for the letter 'C' which causes the hostkey to be copied to the clipboard.

When I tried to access the db from VB 2008 Express it would not connect. Finally I connected by rebooting and NOT opening SQL Management applet.
