I want to be able to add a folder (and inturn, all of it's contents including subfolders) to a setup project. I can manually add a folder, then manually add all of the files for that folder; but this is a NetHelp folder with lots of subfolders and files.
Is there a way to tell the setup to add everything in a folder to the setup files to be distributed??

I've got another problem. This time I am Trying to display the contents of a folder into a textbox:
Public Class Form1
Private Sub browseFolder_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles browseFolder.Click
FolderBrowserDialog1.SelectedPath = _
My.Computer.FileSystem.SpecialDirectories.MyDocuments
[Code]...
I know the line TextBox1.Text = FolderBrowserDialog1.SelectedPath is not what I want to be doing, but thats the only thing I can get to work, but that just displays the folder path obviously. What I want is to display the contents of the selected folder into TextBox1

Instead of creating a listbox to hold the names of one's favorites, I've made it so when you add a bookmark it adds it under the directory (yourusername)/bookmarks. (yourusername) is represented by login.usernametextbox.text. Now I've added a filelistbox to the form and want it to display the contents of the bookmarks folder only without the file name extensions. Just the title. Then when a user clicks on the title it navigates to that specified file by opening a new instance of a browser form. Here's what I have so far:
Private Sub Bookmarks_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
bmarks.Path = Login.UsernameTextBox.Text + "ookmarks"
End Sub[code]....

I have an auto maintenance app where I input labor, parts, tax and other costs. I have a routine to calculate total cost. I found that total cost works fine if total cost doesn't exceed $999.99. If it does, total cost only displays 999.99. Here is the code for each cost and the calctot routine.
Function CalcTot() As Double
CalcTot = Val(FormatNumber(txtcostParts.Text.ToString, 2)) +
Val(FormatNumber(txtcostLabor.Text.ToString, 2)) + _
Val(FormatNumber(txtcostOther.Text.ToString, 2)) +
Val(FormatNumber(txtcostSales.Text.ToString, 2))

I have a directory structure as follows;
ad_folder
--folderA
--folderB
--folderC[code]....
at I do not know the number of or the names of the folders, they can be different in different cases, I only have the root path.how I can display folder contents in VB.net and the code worked but couldn't figure out how to create the arrays and display only folders within folders starting with "ad_".
System.IO.DirectoryInfo and System.IO.FileInfo to be used for getting the folders.A literal control can be used to create javascript arrays in ASP.NET. These js arrays can then be used on the client side.

I have seen lots of examples with a treeview to list folders then display the folders context in a listview.
But what id like is a checked treeview, that not only displays the folder list, but the actually folder contents as well.

What I would want, is a way to get a count of how many sub-folders another folder consists of. For instance, if "c:TestAppTestFolder" contains the sub-folders "Videos", "Pictures and "Audio", I would somehow want to get the code to get the value '3' in this case.

I'm sure I can work out several ways to do this but I wonder if anyone has a neat trick for creating nested folders.For example, if I have a string containing "c:userspauldocsmystuff" I want to create that same folder structure on another drive. I don't want to copy any files, just create the folder structure i.e. "k:userspauldocsmystuff"
