Where SiteName takes you to the very root page which is primarily to select a project and SelectedProject takes you to the project's homepage.Currently, in the Web.sitemap file, SelectedProject has a static name. How can I rename it to the name of the selected project, which can be obtained from Session("PRJ")? I'd strongly prefer any code behind to be given in VB.NET, not C#.
I have xml file that contains a node named <type> I want to rename it to <oldType> I know I cant rename an xml node so I wrote this :

I have a function to rename a TreeView Node to a TextBox text.. When the user clicks a button with a little icon on it, a new Node is created. It is called Graphic_(0,1,2 ect.) So it changes the number to the TreeView Node count.
E.g Graphic_0 Graphic_1 ect.
But, the user can also Delete the nodes and Rename them..
Sooo... the problem is, that if the user renames a previous Node, and calls it Graphic_ and then the NEXT number to occur, 2 Nodes will be the same, and I don't want that.
E.g
Graphic_0 Graphic_1 Graphic_4 <<<< User renames to up coming node number.. Graphic_3
So what I want is to prevent 2 Nodes being the same.. how do I change the UPCOMING Node name to the missed out Node, in our example: Graphic_2.
I am having an issue with the sitemap control, I have added the hierarchical levels within the web.sitemap file and added the sitemap control to the various masterpages. I have however two homepages which can be viewed depending on the user of the system.
Is there any way to define two sitemap structures within this web.sitemap file or can I just create another sitemap file?
The code that I'm using works with normal XML files, but whenever I add the xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9" attribute to the root node, nothing is getting returned by the application. Here is the VB.NET code that is reading the XML file:

i have a custom SiteMapProvider which I populate from a database. I also have a custom SiteMapNode which has to be constructed with a custom Page argument.[code]Should I return false in AuthorizeCore() to have everything work according to default authorization protocols? (What are these?) Or should I throw my exception.SiteMap.CurrentNode is Null / Nothing (in AuthorizeCore()) if the page which is requested is not accessible to the user (obviously). How should I change my implementation? I want to keep the functionality that the Page objects are only loaded once, so I need to store them somewhere.

I'm trying to make a menu based off of an asp.net sitemap. How do you nest the sitemap nodes so that they all appear on the same level. i have a treeview which has a bunch of parent and child nodes preset at design time, there is 1 parent node tho which is called developer, that i want to add child nodes to at runtime.When the form first loads im trying to have it check a text file and for each line in the text file add the text/string from that as a child node tot he 'developer' parent node.

I have a treeview which have a listimage. And it has imageselectindex property (image is yellow ball)My problem is : When i click any node, the image of that node shows imageselectindex . I only want thirth child node will show it. I dont want when i click at first node (rootnode) or child of roodnode , the yellow ballon shows.

Finding the level of the particular xml using a node value in .Net Experts ! This is my sample Xml.This is a tree structure and T->T.1,T.2->T.2.2,TA->TA.1 - this is the tree strucutre. As you can see, when I open a program from my menu, a new button will be created with text similar to this, "C:Program ". The button it self will not do anything. How can I create the method at the same time the button it is for is created? Also how can I change the text do that it gives me, for example, CCleaner.exe instead of the whole target path?
I can usually find the answers to most of my questions via the Google Gods, but not this time.I have a form that has a TabPageControl and on that page a collection of labels and text boxes via a usercontrol.
On the form I have a button that allows the user to create a new tabpage, when the code adds a new page, it automatically adds the UserControl collection. I can't get my head around how to access the objects on the newly created tabpage.
What I need to be able todo is take the index of the tabpage that has focus and translate that against the UerContol name, but I havn't a clue how to do it!
