I have a RichTextBox.
I want to input an integer and the RichTextBox to go to that line and delete all lines above it.
For example, if I have 100 lines in the RTB, and I specify "25" as the integer, I want lines 1-25 deleted and for the RTB to keep 26-100.
I'm currently use visual basic 2008. The problem is I have try this code but,it produce no output. There is no problem with the code I guess. Here is my code

The following code selects a line ina richtextbox. It works OK expect from one problem:
When a line is biger than the size of the richtextbox, it wraps it. This create a big problem as I can not select the last line of the richtextbox (when a line is wrapped it becomes two lines). When I set wordwrap to off it works just fine

i have write all this value in another text file by adding the title.in my original file's line i must check whether the line contain any MIL value if not, I must write first T1 the below T1 i must write all the line which not contain MIL value until i reach a line which Contain MIL value. If the line contain 39MIL the i must write first T5 then followed by all the line which contain 39MIL until it reach the line which contain another MIL value. Let say 50MIL. the i must write T7 then followed by all the line which contain 50MIL. I am writing a click event to delete an item selected from a list view which will utlimately be deleted from the csv file the information is coming from.Currently I am having streamreader read each line and then replace the selected line with a blank line. This creates blank lines in my csv files. Is there a way to delete a line using sr or sw without creating blank lines?Or is there a way to have them read/write a file skipping any empty lines?

What I would like to be able to do is to take data from textbox1, textbox2, and textbox3 and modify the "Y" variables in lines 5, 14, and 15 by the value of textbox1. The first line is bad, it doesnt have an address. Line 2 and 4 are good, they have addresses. So what I could do is:Check each line,if the following line doesnt contain "numbers + ON" then delete line. This will leave me with PlaceNames followed by addresses, which I will then split every other line into a new textbox, (so I have one textbox with placenames, and another with addresses).
