But it doesn't seem to work.
It would appear that Twitter now has some Javascript files in their authorization pages that throw some errors on the WPF WebBrowser control. Is there any way to hide these dialogs? They are really annoying and make it look like it's the applications error.

I developed a WebBrowser which loads a certain web-site for me. The next task, I would like to see only a certain info on that web-site which acts like a table serving as special informational news for me. So, I don't want another things to be appear on my loaded web-site. I need to hide html elements, so that don't appear on my loaded web-site. So, then the form will be like smaller and it will be more convenient to use. Maybe, I need also to hide or remove some java scripts. Do you have any recommendations for it?

View 3 RepliesI'm curious if it is possible to hide a group of text boxes from view in a form until a particular condition is met, and to have a custom set of text boxes for that condition. To give an example; I want radio buttons offering choices for a manner of searching records, the user selects one and then a specific set of text boxes are displayed for the user to utilize, if a different option is chosen a different set of text boxes will be shown. Is this something that can be done?

View 3 RepliesI'm running a webbrowser control with a custom user agent.When I try to load google with it, there are a number of 'script errors' in the website, which I've hidden by setting 'Scripterrorssupressed' to true. Now however there is still an 'object error' which pops up when i try to load google.Every other website that I've tried loads fine, and when I click 'ok' google runs fine. I'm quite sure its something to do with google 'location services' trying to locate my browser, because it thinks its a cellphone (due to the custom user agent).I've been trying DESPERATELY to fix these errors for DAYS! Is there any way I can just totally hide any popups - hence hiding this? Just any way to hide or stop the errors!

Is it possible to block these popups from my application?
The application is for personal use, so auto-clicking yes would be an acceptable option.

View 3 RepliesI am developing an Outlook 2007 VSTO application that works with a commercial website.Almost all of the app's interactions with the website are done using HttpRequest objects.One user scenario does require the app to open a browser to a specific page on the site, and that page requires a Post string to provide the results of a form submit.I am using the version of the WebBrowser control that ships with VS 2008, and specifically VB.Net.My code successfully goes to the first page, after which it navigates to the actual target page (once the first page is loaded).That works, too, but if I click on the desired link on the target page, a JavaScript error pops up, stating "'j.parentNode' is not an object", with a Code of 0.I do not have access t the commerical site's internals. The page and links in question, when accessed via IE or Firefox, work correctly without the JavaScript error. The page containing the link is using Flex.Is this a problem with the nWebBrowser control?

and this works on most pages. Now I'm going to a page that I guess there are errors in the page and I get a box asking me if I want to debut in IE's built in script debugger or something to that effect. Is there any way to have the system ignore this message and continue to load the page as normal

View 1 RepliesI recently upgrade a project from vb 6 to 2008. Most of the code runs fine.I have a webbrowser form control that I use to navigate local files and display them with. (i have a file list box that you click which calls the navigate of the browser control). Most file types i have test work fine and display just as they would in a real browser window. Excel, PDFs, etc... so examples of files that utilize "plugins" like acrobat reader inside the browser work great. Tiff files are the exception. No error is thrown in vb, but the browser throws 2 runtime errors, included at the end here. After the browser errors are ignored the program continues execution but will just not display the file.
i can type the path to the file (eg c: estfielsfilename.tif) in a regular browser window and it displays just like it should, inside IE, using a plugin.Prior to upgrading, depending on what was installed on the computer, navigating to a tif would open the tif with picture and fax viewer, or display it with a tif viewer plugin.

I have programmed a web browser with Visual Basic 2010 Express and came across a major bug. Whenever I try to click a checkbox on a certain website, this error message appears:

After clicking yes or no it just pops up again and I have to open the Task Manager just to close the browser.
If I use IE I can visit the website I want and click the 'Next' button and life is good. If I open that same website using the webBrowser control and click the 'Next button I get a javascript error message.I'm not doing anything in the code to manipulate the website. My goal, eventually, is to have some level of automation; but at this point, I get the javascript error and a pop-up and it screws everything else.

I made a simple application for a website, the site has a IRC-chat and the program should let you close the window (or actually minimize it to the system tray), and then open it from the tray.the problem that occurs, is that I keep getting a Script Error from IE:url...the weird part is that this does not happen when using Internet Explorer on it's own.so it only happens within the WebBrowser Control in the application I made.the application, also, couldn't be more simple, it had just a single window with only a webbrowser control that loads url..., further the program only has a Notification Icon and a Contextual MenuStrip for the Notification Icon.
