I want that when I enter date in dd/mm/yyyy in first text box (ActivationReqDTTextBox), it will automatically fill the second text box (DeactivationReqDTTextBox) by adding plus one year in above entered date.

I'm fairly new to ASP.NET & VB.I've been asked to take an existing textbox that is automatically filled with the current date and allow the user to either add a "+" or "-" and a number or a spcific number and convert that into a date.I underdstand the basic concept on how to do this, but I'm running into some problems using the proper commands in order for this to work.The Textbox is called txtDate.What I've tried to do is this:

when clicking a button, the current date is inserted into a textbox and the focus is transfered to the textbox.
the problem is that Textbox15.focus() select the text inside the textbox. i wish to give that control the focus but place the cursor at the end of the text, with no selection.

What I want to do is get the current month and year, like right now is December 2011, well I want to set the dtpStart to the first of the previous month, so dtpStart would be set at November 1, 2011 and dtpEnd I want to set it at the last of the previous month, so dtpEnd would be set at November 30th, how could I go about doing this?

View 2 RepliesI'm trying to use a combobox to pull the current year and then populate the next ten years. I don't want to manually put in the years in the 'item collections'. I would rather it update automatically based on the system year. How should I go about doing this?
My first instinct is to set the combobox item to the current year based on the system date, then create a loop that increments based on on counter up to current year + 10. I'm assuming this would be done on the 'form_load' event handler???

With the current Regex I am able to grab the value but it also grabs all the "src" elements on the page.

It does not matter for me if its between particular years. I need just to know if given Birthday belongs to interval taken from screen. Each datepicker gives values dd/mm/yyyy. I do not know how to check it. For example:Given date 12/03/1990 . User select two values from screen: From 01/01/1950 Upto 30/04/1949(or 1990, or 2000)
Result should be True.Because 12 march is between 01 Januar and 30 April.

I'm pulling into a variable a datetime value. Now, I want to post this value back to my database, but I need it to be only the year digits. How do I get VB.NET to trim the month, day, and time off and just return the four character year (e.g. 2011)?
