i'm relatively new to vb. I'm trying to make a relatively simple program to get all open window titles in a ListBox. I'm kinda borrowing off some tutorial's/sample code so I might have some declarations I don't need but this is what I have:

I have this code which makes a list of all programs currently open and running in the taskbar into a listbox but i cant for the life of me figure out how i can open one of those windows by clicking on the listbox and it opens the selected windowthis is the code I have Inherits System.Windows.Forms.Form..[code]while searching online for a solution im guessing i have to use the hwnd showwindow command but i dont know how.all i need to do is when i click an item in the listbox it opens the coresponding window.

I have a form with a webbrowser control on it, and I load up a local file in it with some code for a rotating banner (so I can support my app with advertising).The problem I'm having is, it is for example, a banner ad in the small banner sized control, when the user click's it, it loads the new page within the same control, which is way too small.I'd like for any click in the control to load up the link in IE itself, outside of my app. Putting target=_blank so far hasn't helped. Below is the code that I am loading up in my control.

I have so far been able to write the program that glasses the windows I want (via a global keyboard shortcut).

I now need a way to replicate Glass2k's feature which makes glassed windows stay on top of all windows irrespective of which program I switch to (more like setting a WinForm's TopMost property to True. Is there any way of doing this in .NET?

I'm prepared to get down and dirty with DllImports and all so any suggestion is welcome as long as it is in VB.NET or C#.

How can I make this program that when I click on an item from Grupuri listbox (analiza, escl, esa, media, intrari), to open in the fisierele de transmis filelistbox and also in fisiere receptionate filelistbox the coresponding folders of rec and trs.

For instance: If I click Analiza from grupuri, in fisiere de transmis filelistbox will open/show the content of d: rsanaliza folder and in fisiere receptionate filelistbox will open/show the content of d: ecanaliza folder.

If I click Media from grupuri, fisiere de transmis filelistbox will open/show the content of d: rsmedia folder and in fisiere receptionate filelistbox will open/show the content of d:
ecmedia folder.

VS 2008 - Launcher - Make A Routine Run When My Program Starts Without Showing Any Window

I am currently working on a launcher, and it must consist of the following:

- one main routine being called, NO WINDOW may be created at any times after or before this main routine.
- one small form called by the main routine if a certain command was sent through the Command (shortcut).

At this point I use a Windows Form, but it seems a little useless to create and initialize a form if you won't even use it. Any way to make a routine run when my program starts without showing any window? But still make it possible to show that small dialog?

I did this at first but it seems a bit dangerous:

If I set a ListBox.Height = ListBox.PreferredHeight when the control is hidden and IntegralHeight = True, then set it visible:

a) Actual Height reduces by typically 3-5 pixels after redraw (but not 1 pixel per item).

b) PreferredHeight does not not appear to give the correct integral of item heights.

Is there a way to make ListBox calculate the correct integral Height before the ListBox is made visible, so it can be correctly pre-positioned from bottom edge?
