I've got an sql datareader that has a bunch of paths in it. I need to open up multiple pop up windows / multiple tabs on the browser.So I tried looping through my datareader and doing a ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript but after the code completes nothing opens up.

So here is the situation. I have a button on one of my extjs pages. This button opens a child window as a pop-up. This child window has a .method attribute as well as a .ref attribute, and also a .id. I need the functionality to open another window with the SAME template, everytime I click that button.I was thinking set the childwindow .method property to something like 'getWindow', and the .ref to something like 'newWindow' and then create a javascript function on the backend to look something like this:

At my job, there are multiple web based tools we use. I'm trying to make a program that opens them all with one click, all in separate IE windows.
The code below, once executed, will produce 1 IE window. I'm pretty sure I understand why it's doing this, but not sure how to fix it. What I want is 3 IE windows open, at the respective sites.

I was offered this interesting scenario by a visitor of my site and have been trying a few approaches, but not seeming to get it quite right. I have a Form with a WebBrowser control (or an AxWebBrowser if that works too) and on the page loaded in the browser, is a link that uses javascript to open a new popup window.This popup window I am unable to take "ownership" of and it launches in a new instance of the user's default browser (IE for this scenario). I need to then interact with that javascript popup window which now is not part of my application. If I needed to set a value of an input box on that form, how would I accomplish that if I can't "interact" with the form?

I'm creating a kind of 'playlist manager' application where the user can create his own music playlist and then play it from my application. However, I don't want to give my application any playback features itself, as there are already so many media players around. Surely this must be possible? You can open multiple files in windows itself simply by selecting them and opening them at the same time. I'm pretty sure the filenames of the selected files will then be in the arguments of wmplayer so that it can open them, but I just don't know in what format.
I have a asp grid with a few columns that bind to data. The last column has been converted to a template-field. In this template-field is a button with a modal popup extender attached to it. Hidden inside this field is a modal popup. This modal popup is used to add a new account. it contains 2 text boxes, drop down lists and buttons("Add" and "Cancel"). When "add" is clicked the modal should close after the inserting of the new account in the code behind.
The Problem: I get the popup to display and load the Drop down lists from the cache, without problem. How do I get the button click event to fire in the code behind. I've tried using a JavaScript function that performs a _doPostBack('btnAddAcc','') but it keeps returning the error "JavaScript error: Object expected". I gathered after about 1 hour on Google that it is because "btnAddAcc' is not found because it is actually within the grid-view cell and can't be directly accessed. Using page methods and ajax calls is a last resort as the company has a strict policy against this and only allowes this after a bunch of paperwork.

i am trying to make a webbrowser but i am not having any luck with opening pop ups in say webbrowser2. I click a link when browsing in webbrowser1 and a ie instance pops up. Is there a way to not let the pop up come in a different ie and have it go to webbrowser2(other tab)? like how it does in google chrome or other major webbrowsers.

But the href property is always empty, this is because the active element is the last button clicked. But it is a button I click in the webbrowser control that opens a link in IE.

I've set breakpoints on the javascript. It does execute. Here's what's weird -- The above javascript executes, only I don't get a new window with ReasonCodes.aspx. However, I set a breakpoint in the page_load of ReasonCodes.aspx and all of it executes. So the javascript executes, the code-behind page_load of the third page executes, but I don't get a third page. Instead, the second window (Reasons.aspx) refreshes. It's like my third window is somehow 'hidden'.
