Oct 18, 2011I am working with buttons I have A treeview that when you click on a node it changes the text in textboxes and I need it to change the command the button does. So when a user clicks a node it changes text in 3 text boxes and changes the download link for the button. As you can see from the code all works fine but I need to use a button to download stuff and I dont know how the download code is

Dec 6, 2010I am using VB 2008 & Access Databases for creating WinForm Applications. Also i am using Crystal Reports for Report solution. my question is How do i created reports such a way that they can be printed in faster Ascii Format on any DotMatrix printer. The default true type fonts make printing very slower.
I tried to use "Draft 10 cpi" font which come to available me after i installed a correct driver for my Epson printer. which also helped me overcome this problem. however it wont be the scenario with all my clients i.e. they might have different printers having different Make with different drivers installed. i have tried to open such project on there PC but the printing wont come in Draft instead the fonts get expanded too much & the print wont come right.

Apr 19, 2010I basically have an application that generates reports in a .html file, I use a .html file for the ease of making tables and formatting text.Now I would like to introduce a way of printing the reports from my program. Because I use a .html file, the formatting would not the correct if I was to print it directly from my application (as far as I know). For this reason, I would like to print it just like my web browser would have in order to keep the tabular data intact and the text formatting.

Nov 2, 2009I'm creating an application which has an scheduler to print and it checks if there is a pending job on the print queue before it prints the next file. I use a timer which checks if there is any file to be printed on my database. Example, the timer ticks and selected 10 files to be printed, it should print the 10 files 1 at a time, if there's no print queue, that's the only time the next file should print. I think another timer is required which will keeps on checking if print queue is done. How will i do this?

When I print the output to a PDF file using PDFCreator, it stacks all of the letters onto each other rather than creating new lines at the places I've specified. I've also tried using vbNewLine instead of vbCrLf, but I haven't had any luck. I searched the web for this but couldn't find anything about it.

Oct 25, 2011i have a treeview say TV1 and another Treeview Say TV2.. Now TV1 Contains all nodes for user rights. and i want to add to tv2 only selected nodes.Like TV1 is

what i want is that when i select Level3 Node it should chek TV2 for the parent of this node. if parent exist it should add the node under the same parent. if parent does not exist it should check for Level 1 Node and if it exist it should add Level 2 Node and then Level 3 Node. Otherwise it should add Level 1 , Level 2 and then Level 3 Nodes in order.
Populating A TreeView From A TreeView Instance

In this class, I have a TreeView property let's call myTreeView..In my code, I populate the Nodes of this TreeView so I can use it later on.Then, when it's time to actualy use it, I haven't been able to take all the nodes from myClass and put them in a Tree View Control on my form.[code]The weird thing is that when debugging, the TreeView in MyClass is well populated with the proper values and in the loop, newNode isn't empty, there's actually something but for some reason it's not showing anything.

In the textbox, the user would type a number, lets go with 1 for an example. A user would type 1 in the textbox, then it would automatically add the 1 to the end of this .swf link: "http:[url]... after they enter the 1 in the textbox and press the "Go" button, it would add the 1 to the end of that link, then that link would open a new shockwaveflash form with the link being the Movie. Jul 18, 2011I'm using Visual Basic 2006 and i am printing with a third party application call NovaPDF. It works very well.NovaPDF works like any printer and i'm having no problem using it. The thing is that i don't want to queue printing document because i need to rename and change their location. Also NovaPDF append to file. Apr 2, 2012I have written a vb.net 2008 Express Edition application that pulls transaction history for customers from an iSeries. Everything appears to work as planned, except when you select to print Datagridview it prints the Date column as a DateTime instead of Date.When you are viewing the Datagridview in the VB.Net application it looks like it should.
On the iSeries the field with the date data is a decimal field with length of 7,0 with the following format CYYMMDD. In the VB.Net application the date portion is correct the time portion always is 12:00:00 AM due to i guess that it is picking up zero's somehow for time. Following is the code for the application.

Printing By Printer In .net?

Here I have creating a custom paper(height = 1000mm and width = 800mm) on the printer via code and then trying to print the text on a specific location (for example. top = 1cm and left = 1cm). It does not print the text After trying many time i found that printable area, created by the code, is not changed but it is changing height and width as custom paper i have given in the code. But still it's printable area remains the same as previous paper kindly reply
