I have a strongly typed dataset that has rows with duplicate [sopnumbe] I am looping through them and displaying row data I want to only display the Distinct sopnumbe rows in my initial loop1.. but the sub loop uses the data out of all rows.. So I cant filter the actual dataset.

The problem is that the result set includes duplicate QID_Lookup values. How can I include only distinct QID_Lookup values? keep in mind that there are 64 columns, so if I can avoid it, I wouldn't want to list each column individually for selection.
I have an EnumerableRowCollection that looks like the following:

Essentially, this is a massive list of vendor codes, their groups, and price variances. I need to compose a query that will create a distinct list vendor codes and group types. The catch, however, is that I need to evaluate all of the variances associated with that particular VendorCode/GroupType to see if they are all the same - it they are not, I need to return some way of signifying that the group has a "custom" variance, otherwise it needs to return the value (ie: if they are all .16, then return .16, if there are multiple values, return "custom")
The result would look like this, based off of the list I showed above.

01165 G .16
01165 CH custom
07754 G custom
I have no trouble getting a distinct list of VendorCode/GroupType - this is what I have so far:

i fill a datatable in a typed dataset.. it has cities and states but I want to pull just distinct states and bind it to a control etc.. there is the filter, but i havent found a way to do distinct or group by. got to be a way without adding more datatables and filling them with data thats already there right?

The table loads all my relevant records but one of my table cells contains a dropdown list. So I should be able make a selection in the dropdown click "update" and my controller saves the changes.
So everything works until I try and save. The model that is sent to the controller is completely null. The list property I have tied to the table cells returns to the controller null.

I have a parent/child relation I am trying to create fow 2 datasets.The parent ds consusts of a range of PO Header information
After I fill this dataset I loop through it getting the PO number. I then take that value and execute another sql statement on the DETAIL file and fill a dataset(dtlDS) for EACH row in the parent. How do I add to this dtlDS for each row? I am getting no CHILD data in the merge. Should I be filling to a datatable and do an add.row and THEN dump into the dtlDS?
I have a model that returns a dataset to a view and builds a list. The crazy thing is that I have tested this code with IE, Safari on Mac and Windows, Chrome and Opera and all return data. However, on the iPad or iPhone, zero rows are returned from the dataset object. It seems that the model is in fact passing the dataset to the view. I am using jquerymobile to render the view for the iOS devices and have taken that out of the mix to test and it still doesn't work.

I need to add rows to the dataset based on the selection of a combo box. ie if the user selects 15 the the program adds 15 rows to the dataset.

My Application uses For...Next loops to read a spreadsheet into a DataSet and then display information from it based on the results of search conditions (search term and a date range).I'm having a problem with the data where, if I run a search that should return the first 400 rows in the spreadsheet, I'm only getting around 200 results. I know the search should return the 400 rows because I checked it in the spreadsheet before running the search.I think my problem might be caused by my date comparisons. I am assuming i need a button for accepting changes to table and a button to cancel. My use for the form is to add or delete rows of data and save the changes.
