I have a program where you can send out text through a networking system then it will loop back and display what was sent into a second text box.basically what I want to do is be able to send a Hexidecimal "A" in binary form or A: <10101010> right now the program is sending the word "A" out as ASCII or A: <01000001> is there any way to change this?

Now as you can see it is sending the textbox1 text and then pressing enter then sending textbox2 text! Theres quite a few problems in that but before i discuss note: This code is in a Timer. Problem #1: It does not send the keys fully correct all the time because its trying to send them all at once! So i want it to send them 1 letter after the other with 200 ms sleep in them! Problem #2: The sleep is not working: The reason i know is because even after it did the first textbox1 text it didnt wait that 2000 ms!

I am trying to send keys to a control on my form. But I am getting a NullReferenceException and I don't know why. The code is about as basic as it gets: [Code] The error reported is object reference not set to an instance of an object but Send is a shared method so doesn't need an instance. Strangely if I ignore the error it works fine and F4 is passed to the control. I know there was an issue with sendkeys and UAC but I thought this had been solved (I am using 4.0 framework).

I am trying to use the send keys function to send text to another program.I ahve gotten it al working well, except for using () as I know sendkeys doesnt like these.I have tried using the Replace function in several places in my code to replace the ( with {(} and {+0} etc, with various other options tried.But when I run the program, it seems to skip this out completly and leaves them in the string as (, and therefore it errors and wont run.When I step through it, it goes through the function but doesnt alter the strng as it should. I have a form that is first displayed as 425 x 66. When you press a button, the form expands to 425 x 398 and a message appears (a label prooperty) with the text: Processing Files. When the files are finished prosessing, a listbox appears and summarizes which records were added to the database.
The label begins as Not Visible. After I change the size of the form, I change the label property to Visible.
This used to work, but now, for some reason, the text simply doesn't appear.
I tried changing the lblproperty to Visible at startup but when I do this I get a black bar where my lable should appear.
I've migrated a VB6 Windows based system into VB.NET (version 2008) thru the use of wizard. I'm able to run the program and generate ralated reports at the development PC BUT when I installed it on a server, the system seems not runing at all (no report being generated) and without any error. I tried to install it at another 2 different servers and having the same result...no report being generated and without any error.When I installed it at a PC (NOT server), the system able to generate reports.
