I have an existing WSDL which returns information to remote devices using SOAP. However, I'm writing a new app with Android which doesn't support SOAP so I can't use the existing WSDL and have had to code a new app which looks for a querystring from the Android app and returns the data in a JSON packet. There is an asp.net webform at Server 1. My intention is:
For every http request to that webform in Server1, the Server1 just pass the request's information to Server2 for logic processing and subsequently Server2 sends the response back to client (i.e. normal browser)
My questions are:
What information that Server1 needs to pass to Server2, so that Server2 able to send response back to client? note that at Server2, there is a TcpListener instance. This TcpListener instance acting as receiver for that webform request information from Server1. What is the suitable object (i.e. the class in System.Net or related namespace such as System.Net.Sockets) at Server2 for sending response back to client? Suitable here means able to meet my intention.

Im tring to send 4 strings from a windows form to a webpage (aspx)I need to be able to send special chars, like æ ø å, from win form to aspx,process string, and send back a response.I also need to be able to store that string in a readable format so i can see the special characters.The win form only needs to receive a string and not a complete html page with body and stuff, only the string.Likewise the aspx page only need to receive the string maybe formated like var1=string1&var2=string2 etc.I have tried so many diff things and apparently im missing something.

I have a need for a button to take the user back to their previous page.Because of how this page is accessed, the only way to do this is with javascript using history.back()
This part works perfectly apart from the fact when a user goes to click a button on the page they have gone to back to, I get the error that Request.QueryString is not supported in this context.I'm guessing the Request object is lost when javascript is directing the user to the previous page.I cannot use Request.UrlReffer either because the the nature of the back button. It works great: .Open the URL, then .SetRequestHeader (however many are needed) and then .Send the body. The .Send method makes the actual connection and sends everything to the server at once.How to I emulate this behavior in .NET? The examples I've tried with System.Net.HttpWebRequest open a stream with .GetRequestStream() and then write the body to the stream. Unfortunately, the server is responding immediately to the .GetRequestStream method and therefore never sees the POST body.I am obviously trying to connect up some legacy stuff here, but am having a hard time Googling the problem or finding another approach in .NET.

I'm making program that will copy one file and over-write another to purge data.I have a windows form interface where the files can be selected and want a console application to run this process so it can be put into the PC's startup folder to run on each startup.
The problem is I need to send the file location data to the console app when I choose a save button on the form. Both are part of the same project and referenced but I can't seem to reference any variable from the win form to console app.Also will I see the Console app as a seperate icon in the program files so I can put it on the PC startup?

So my question is how do send a soap request and get a response without the use of a WSDL?
